Abstract

Kata Kunci: Iskemia miokardia, usia, angina tipikal, bukan angina tipikal Referensi: 48/Bakcground: According to the Ministry of Health, ischemic heart disease is ranked second, contributing 14.38% of the highest causes of death in Indonesia. Age is a risk factor in the occurrence of ischemic heart disease. The prevalence of myocardial ischemia is estimated to increase every year and complaints vary based on age. Objectives: To determine the relationship between the characteristics of myocardial ischemia complaints and age at Siloam Hospitals Lippo Village. Methods: Interview patients who have visited Siloam Hospitals Lippo Village in 2022-2024 using a purposive method. This research used an observational study with an unpaired comparative analytical method with a cross-sectional design. The statistical test in this study used the Chi Square method. Results: Out of 206 respondents, the number of respondents who had complaints characteristic of myocardial ischemia in the form of non-typical angina were equally greater at ages <65 years and >65 years, namely 75 respondents (53.2%) and 38 respondents (58.5%) compared with typical angina. The results of bivariate Chi Square analysis showed that there was no significant relationship between the characteristics of myocardial ischemia complaints and age (p value = 0.480; OR = 0.807; 95% CI = 0.446 – 1.462). Conclusion: There was no significant relationship between the characteristics of myocardial ischemia complaints and age at Siloam Hospital Lippo Village with a p value of 0.480 and an OR value of 0.807 (95% CI = 0.446 – 1.462). Keywords: Myocardial ischemia, age, typical angina, not typical angina References: 48
