Abstract
Konsumen Indonesia saat ini semakin ingin berinvestasi pada produk kecantikan dan perawatan kecantikan untuk memperbaiki penampilan mereka. Semakin banyak perusahaan menyadari permintaan di pasar dan berusaha membuat iklan menarik untuk memenangkan pasar. Namun, tidak hanya wanita, konsumen pria saat ini juga lebih sadar akan kecantikan dan kebutuhan merawat tubuh mereka. Dahulu, jika pria yang terlalu memperhatikan penampilan mereka disebut metroseksual, sekarang ini adalah tren spornosexual, singkatan dari sport, porn, dan metroseksual. Ikon dari spornoseksual dipegang oleh Cristiano Ronaldo, pemain sepak bola dari klub sepak bola Real Madrid. Dengan menganalisis dua video komersial Nivea Men yang menampilan Real Madrid melalui analisis semiotika oleh Peirce, peneliti akan mengungkapkan bagaimana pria digambarkan dalam iklan Nivea Men dan tanda-tanda spornoseksual di dalamnya. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menganalisis setiap adegan pada kedua iklan tersebut dan menghubungkannya dengan karakteristik spornoseksual. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkap penggambaran spornoseksual dalam video komersial Nivea Men yang menampilkan Real Madrid dan tanda atau karakteristiknya di iklan.

Indonesian consumers nowadays are increasingly willing to invest in beauty and personal care products to improve their appearance. More and more companies are realizing the demand and strive to win the market and break through the cluttered ads in the market. However, not only women, but male consumers today are more aware of beauty and the need of taking care their bodies. If men who care too much of their appearance used to be called metrosexual, now it is the trend of spornosexual, stands for sport, porn, and metrosexual. The icon of spornosexual is held by Cristiano Ronaldo, the football player from Real Madrid football club. By analyze the two commercial videos of Nivea Men which featured Real Madrid through semiotics analysis by Peirce, the researcher reveals how men are portrayed in the Nivea Men ads and the signs of spornosexual in it. The research is done by analyze each scene on both of the ads and relate it to the characteristics of spornosexual. The result of this research uncovers the portrayal of spornosexual in the Nivea Men commercial video featured Real Madrid and the sign or characteristics of it in advertisement.
