Abstract

Kesimpulan: Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa terdapat hubungan anatara tingkat pendidikan dengan pengetahuan terkait stroke pada pengunjung Puskesmas, dimana subjek yang berpendidikan tinggi maupun rendah memiliki pengetahuan yang buruk terkait stroke./ Background: Stroke is a disease that attacks the human brain, can cause blockage of blood flow to the brain or bleeding in the brain. Knowledge related to stroke disease in the form of risk factors and typical signs and symptoms is still rarely known. Education level is one of the factors that influence a person's knowledge related to stroke. Objective: To know the relationship between education level and stroke knowledge among health centre visitors. Method: This study used an analytical design of an unpaired cross-sectional study, carried out from licensing and sampling in January to May 2024 with a total of 133 samples at Gambir Health Centre visitors who met the inclusion criteria. The sample will fill out a questionnaire that has been prepared by the researcher via google form or paper. Samples will be taken with non-probability sampling technique and purposive sampling method. Result: A total of 138 samples met the inclusion criteria. The results of the samples tested, both from low and high education levels, stroke knowledge was still poor. Data tabulation using Fisher's test, showed that there was a significant relationship between education level and knowledge related to stroke in Puskesmas visitors (p<0.05). Conclusion: This study found that there was a relationship between education level and stroke knowledge among health centre visitors, where subjects with high and low education had poor knowledge of stroke.
