Abstract

Tulisan ini merupakan hasil analisis dari kegiatan praktikum mengajar dari suatu sekolah yang berlangsung sepanjang Januari - Maret 2024 di daerah tempat praktikum berlangsung. Tujuan dibuatnya tulisan ini ialah untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada siswa mengenai konsep keteraturan perubahan pada bidang dua dimensi serta meningkatkan keterampilan siswa dalam penerapan konsep. Metode penulisan yang digunakan dalam membuat Proyek Akhir ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Selama praktikum berlangsung, ditemukan adanya kelebihan dan kekurangan dari metode ini, baik dalam sesi penjelasan guru, pengerjaan soal, hingga pengerjaan proyek secara berkelompok. Berdasarkan data, hasil yang dicapai ialah lebih dari 50 % siswa mencapai tingkat keberhasilan yang ditetapkan, baik pada ranah kognitif maupun psikomotorik. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, diambil kesimpulan bahwa penerapan metode yang dibahas pada tulisan ini memiliki dampak yang positif terhadap pemahaman siswa. Faktor yang mendukung keberhasilan ialah adanya kesempatan bagi siswa untuk langsung mempraktekkan pengetahuan yang telah didapatkan. Terlepas dari efektivitas dari metode ini, kemampuan guru dalam merancangkan dan mengeksekusi rencana dapat mempengaruhi hasil akhir dari pembelajaran. Oleh sebab itu, dalam menerapkan metode ini diperlukan hasil observasi akurat dan manajemen kelas yang baik dalam melaksanakan proses belajar mengajar./This paper is the result of an analysis of teaching practicum activities from a school that took place throughout January - March 2024 at the area where the practicum took place. The purpose of writing this paper is to provide students with an understanding of the concept of regularity of change in a two-dimensional plane and to improve students' skills in applying the concept. The writing method used in making this Final Project is a qualitative descriptive method. During the practicum, it was found that there were advantages and disadvantages of this method, both in the teacher's explanation session, working on questions, and working on projects in groups. Based on the data, the results achieved were that more than 50% of students achieved the set level of success, both in the cognitive and psychomotor domains. Based on these results, it is concluded that the application of the method discussed in this paper has a positive impact on student understanding. The factor that supports success is the opportunity for students to directly practice the knowledge they have gained. Regardless of the effectiveness of this method, the teacher's ability to design and execute plans can affect the results of learning. Therefore, in implementing this method, accurate observation results and good classroom management are needed in carrying out the teaching and learning process.
