Abstract
Latar belakang: Burnout akademik merupakan masalah psikologi yang dialami oleh sebagian besar mahasiswa kedokteran. Hal ini dilatarbelakangi oleh beberapa faktor seperti kecemasan tentang masa depan, kekhawatiran melukai pasien, ketidakmampuan dalam melakukan teknis medis, dan harapan dan tekanan yang tinggi dari keluarga serta persaingan akademik yang ketat. Burnout akademik menyebabkan mahasiswa mengalami kelelahan secara emosional, depersonalisasi, dan menurunnya rasa pencapaian pribadi. Salah satu cara yang dihipotesiskan untuk mengecah burnout akademik adalah dengan melakukan aktivitas fisik. Namun, hubungan antara aktivitas fisik dengan burnout akademik masih menjadi perdebatan. Beberapa penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan negatif akan tetapi terdapat penelitian lainnya yang menunjukkan hubungan positif antara aktivitas fisik dengan burnout akademik. Oleh karena itu, peneliti sebagai mahasiswa kedokteran melalui penelitian ini ingin mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat aktivitas fisik dengan burnout akademik.
Tujuan penelitian: Mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat aktivitas fisik dengan burnout akademik.
Hipotesis: Tingkat aktivitas fisik yang tinggi berkorelasi dengan tingkat burnout akademik yang rendah.
Metode penelitian: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi potong lintang. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 64 orang dengan menggunakan pendekatan teknik purposive sampling. Pengambilan data dilakukan menggunakan google forms yang berisi Global Physical Activity Questionnaire dan Maslasch Burnout Inventory Student Survey hasil. Kemudian data yang dikumpulkan akan diolah menggunakan program SPSS 26 dan akan dianalisa menggunakan teknik chi-square.
Hasil: Dari total 80 responden, terdapat 26 yang mengalami burnout akademik dengan aktivitas fisik yang beragam. Hasil uji analisis chi-square menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara aktivitas fisik dengan burnout akademik pada aspek kelelahan emosional (p=0.026, OR=-.162) dan academic efficacy (p=-.032, OR=3.080). Pada aspek sinisme tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan (p=1, OR=0.733).
Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat aktivitas fisik dengan tingkat burnout akademik aspek kelelahan emosional dan academic efficacy dan tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan dengan burnout akademik aspek sinisme.

Background: Academic burnout is a psychological problem experienced by most medical students. It is caused by worries about the future, worry about harming patients, inability to perform medical techniques, and high expectations from family as well as intense academic competition. Academic burnout causes students to experience emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and a reduced sense of personal accomplishment. One hypothesis to prevent academic burnout is through physical activity. However, the relationship between physical activity and academic burnout is still debated. Some studies show a negative relationship but there are other studies that show a positive relationship between physical activity and academic burnout. Therefore, researchers as medical students want to know the relationship between physical activity levels and academic burnout.
Objectives; To determine the relationship between physical activity level and academic burnout.
Hypothesis: High levels of physical activity correlated with low levels of academic burnout.
Method: This study used a cross-sectional study design. The study sample totaled 64 people who were selected using purposive sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using google forms containing the Global Physical Activity Questionnaire and Maslach Burnout Inventory Student Survey results. Then the data collected will be processed using the SPSS 26 program and will be analyses using the chi-square technique.
Result: Of the total 80 respondents, there were 26 who experienced academic burnout with various physical activities. The results of the chi-square analysis test showed a significant relationship between physical activity and academic burnout in the aspects of emotional exhaustion (p=0.026, OR=-.162) and academic efficacy (p=-.032, OR=3.080). In the aspect of cynicism, there was no significant relationship (p=1, OR=0.733).
Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between the level of physical activity with the level of academic burnout aspects of emotional exhaustion and academic efficacy and there is no significant relationship with academic burnout aspects of cynicism.
