Abstract

Budaya berbelanja saat ini telah mengalami pergeseran seiring majunya teknologi. Berbelanja online lebih sering dilakukan oleh para konsumen saat ini. Namun, adanya masalah dimana produk yang dibeli tidak sesuai dengan deskripsi. Fitur live streaming diciptakan untuk pemecahan permasalahan tersebut, sehingga ramainya orang yang berjualan secara online melalui live streaming di TikTok Live. Hal ini mempermudah penjual dikarenakan live streaming penjualan secara langsung yang dilakukan secara online sehingga penjual dan pembeli dapat berinteraksi secara langsung seolah-olah seperti berjualan secara konvensional. Peneliti berfokus kepada strategi pemasaran komunikasi dengan konsep social selling. Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma interpretif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif. Upaya untuk mendapatkan data melalui wawancara secara teknik semi structured interview dan konsep utama social selling. Dalam menentukan narasumber, penelitian ini melibatkan para live streamer yang aktif dan konsisten dalam berjualan melalui TikTok Live. Oleh karena itu, wawancara dilakukan kepada para live streamer yang berjualan secara live streaming di TikTok Live. Temuan penilitian ini menunjukkan bahwa para live streamer melakukan penjualan dengan menggunakan teknik utama yang interaktif untuk mendapatkan perhatian dari penonton, cara berjualan secara tradisional yang diterapkan pada media sosial, strategi promosi, penentuan harga, display produk, beserta dengan raut wajah atau ekspresi penjual. / The current shopping culture has shifted along with the advancement of technology. Consumers more often do online shopping today. However, there is a problem where the product purchased does not match the description. The live streaming feature was created to solve this problem so that many people sell online via live streaming on TikTok Live. This makes it easier for sellers because live streaming sales are carried out directly online so that sellers and buyers can interact as if they were selling conventionally. Researchers focus on communication marketing strategies with the concept of social selling. This study uses an interpretive paradigm with a qualitative approach and descriptive methods—efforts to obtain data through interviews using semi structured interview techniques and the main concept of social selling. In determining the sources, this study involved live streamers who were active and consistent in selling via TikTok Live. Therefore, interviews were conducted with live streamers who sell via live streaming on TikTok Live. The findings of this study indicate that live streamers make sales using interactive primary techniques to gain the attention of viewers, traditional selling methods applied on social media, promotional strategies, pricing, product displays, along with the seller's facial expressions.
