Abstract

Dalam era modern yang penuh dengan dinamika sosial dan ekonomi, pemberdayaan dan peningkatan potensi diri perempuan menjadi salah satu isu yang sangat penting. Maka dari itu, Make Over sebagai brand kosmetik terkemuka di Indonesia, meluncurkan kampanye public relations bertajuk “Discover the Unseen Power” pada tahun 2024 yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan potensi diri perempuan. Penelitian ini menganalisis strategi komunikasi kampanye Public Relations “Discover the Unseen Power” oleh brand kosmetik Make Over, yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan potensi diri perempuan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan tim Public Relations dan Brand Building dari Make Over yang terlibat langsung dalam kampanye ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kampanye ini berhasil membangun hubungan emosional dengan audiens melalui tokoh-tokoh inspiratif yang berperan sebagai muse, yang mencerminkan keberagaman segmen target pasar Make Over. Strategi ini membantu memperkuat citra Make Over sebagai brand kosmetik yang tidak hanya berfokus pada produk tetapi juga memiliki dampak sosial positif dalam pemberdayaan perempuan. / In the modern era filled with social and economic dynamics, empowering and enhancing the potential of women has become a highly significant issue. In response, Make Over, a leading cosmetic brand in Indonesia, launched a public relations campaign titled “Discover the Unseen Power” in 2024 aimed at enhancing women's self-potential. This research analyzes the communication strategy of the “Discover the Unseen Power” public relations campaign by the Make over cosmetics brand, which aims to empower women. The research method employed is a case study with a qualitative approach, where data was collected through in-depth interviews with the Public Relations and Brand Building teams from Make Over who were directly involved in this campaign. The results indicate that the campaign successfully built an emotional connection with the audience through inspirational figures who served as muses, reflecting the diversity of Make Over's target market segments. This strategy helped strengthen Make Over's image as a cosmetic brand that not only focuses on its products but also has a positive social impact in empowering women.
