Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses komunikasi interpersonal anak remaja dalam konteks keluarga disfungsional. Komunikasi yang baik diidentifikasi sebagai elemen kunci dalam membangun hubungan yang sehat dalam keluarga, yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perkembangan sosial dan emosional remaja. Dalam keluarga yang ideal, komunikasi terbuka dan suportif membantu remaja membangun identitas positif dan keterampilan sosial. Sebaliknya, dalam keluarga disfungsional, ketidakmampuan untuk mendengarkan dan memahami satu sama lain dapat menyebabkan perasaan terasing dan citra diri negatif pada remaja. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi yang bertujuan untuk menggali pengalaman subjektif anak remaja dalam berinteraksi dengan orang tua dan anggota keluarga mereka. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan 3 anak remaja. Kesimpulannya, penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya menciptakan lingkungan komunikasi yang sehat untuk mendukung perkembangan anak remaja secara optimal. Dengan memperbaiki komunikasi dalam keluarga, diharapkan dapat mengurangi dampak negatif dari kurangnya interaksi yang mendukung, serta membantu remaja mengembangkan identitas diri yang positif dan keterampilan sosial yang diperlukan untuk berinteraksi dengan baik di masyarakat. / This study aims to analyze the process of interpersonal communication of adolescents in the context of dysfunctional families. Good communication is identified as a key element in building healthy relationships in the family, which has a significant impact on the social and emotional development of adolescents. In an ideal family, open and supportive communication helps adolescents build a positive identity and social skills. Conversely, in dysfunctional families, the inability to listen and understand each other can lead to feelings of alienation and negative self-image in adolescents. The approach used in this study was qualitative with a phenomenological method that aims to explore the subjective experiences of adolescents in interacting with their parents and family members. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with 3 adolescents. In conclusion, this research emphasizes the importance of creating a healthy communication environment to support optimal development of adolescent children. By improving communication within the family, it is hoped that it can reduce the negative impact of a lack of supportive interactions, as well as help teenagers develop a positive self-identity and the social skills needed to interact well in society.
