Latar Belakang: CB/L adalah suatu kondisi defek lahir yang terjadi karena abnormalitas pembentukan pembukaan atau belahan pada bibir atau palatum (lelangit). Pada usia perkembangan anak-anak dengan CBL mempengaruhi cara berinteraksi sosial yang dapat meningkatkan terjadinya rendah diri dan rasa malu sehingga mengalami masalah psikososial seperti depresi atau major depressive disorder. Menurut Riskesdas Indonesia tahun 2018, menunjukkan bahwa anak berusia lebih dari 15 tahun mengalami depresi. Beberapa penelitian serupa juga meneliti gejala depresi dan pasien CB/L namun belum ada penelitian di Rumah Sakit Siloam Lippo Karawaci. Tujuan: Mengtahui prevalensi dari gejala depresi pada pasien CB/L dan hubungan gejala depresi pada pasien CB/L dengan pengaruh jenis kelamin, usia 7-12 tahun, dan anak tunggal. Metodologi: Penelitian dilakukan dengan studi case control dengan jumlah 128 sampel yang memenuhi kriteria yang terbagi menjadi 64 sampel kelompok kontrol dan 64 sampel kelompok kasus. Analisa data menggunakan uji chi-squared dengan pengolahan data menggunakan aplikasi SPSS 29.0. Hasil: Sebanyak 128 responen terkumpul menghasilkan 13 sampel dari kelompok kasus dan 9 sampel dari kelompok kontrol yang mengalami gejala depresi. Hubungan gejala depresi pada pasien CB/L tidak dipengaruhi oleh faktor jenis kelamin (p-value: 0,48), usia 7-12 tahun (p-value: 0,07), dan anak tunggal (p-value: 1). Kesimpulan: Prevalensi gejala depresi pada pasien celah bibir dan/atau lelangit (CB/L) sebanyak 13 orang (20,3%). Hubungan gejala depresi pada pasien CB/L tidak dipengaruhi oleh faktor jenis kelamin, usia 7-12 tahun, dan anak tunggal. Referensi: 2015-2023. / Background: CB/L is a birth defect condition that occurs due to abnormal formation of an opening or cleft in the lip or palate. The developmental age of children with CBL affects the way they interact socially which can increase the occurrence of low self-esteem and shyness resulting in psychosocial problems such as depression or major depressive disorder. Research Objective: To determine the prevalence of depressive symptoms in CB/L patients and the association of depressive symptoms in CB/L patients with the influence of gender, age 7-12 years, and only child. Methodology: The study was conducted with a case control study with a total of 128 samples that met the criteria divided into 64 control group samples and 64 case group samples. Data analysis using chi-squared test with data processing using SPSS 29.0 application. Results: A total of 128 respondents collected resulted in 13 samples from the case group and 9 samples from the control group who experienced depressive symptoms. The relationship between depressive symptoms in CB/L patients was not influenced by gender (p-value: 0.48), age 7-12 years (p-value: 0.07), and only child (p-value: 1). Conclusion: The prevalence of depressive symptoms in cleft lip and/or palate (CB/L) patients was 13 people (20.3%).
