Abstract

Latar Belakang : Burnout adalah hasil dari tekanan pekerjaan dan tuntutan profesional yang menyebabkan kelelahan fisik dan psikologis, disertai dengan gejala seperti tingkat kelelahan emosional yang meningkat, depersonalisasi, dan penurunan perasaan pencapaian pribadi. Mahasiswa kedokteran mulai mengalami burnout selama masa pendidikan mereka. Siswa yang mengalami burnout dalam belajar memiliki kesulitan dalam memusatkan perhatian atau sulit berkonsentrasi.Tujuan Penelitian : Menganalisa hubungan antara burnout dengan tingkat konsentrasi belajar pada mahasiswa preklinik fakultas kedokteran universitas pelita harapan Metode : Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik komperatif tidak berpasangan dengan metode potong lintang (cross-sectional),Dengan besar sampel 97 mahasiswa. Sampel akan dipilih secara convenient sampling dengan menggunakan non-probability method. Pada penelitian ini data akan dianalisa menggunakan metode Chi Square statistical test. Hasil Penelitian: Dari penelitian ini, sebanyak 55 responden (56,7%) mengalami burnout dan 92 responden (94,8%) memiliki tingkat konsentrasi sedang - rendah. Analisis chi-square menemukan hubungan bermakna antara burnout dan tingkat konsentrasi belajar pada mahasiswa pre-klinik Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Pelita Harapan (p-value <0,001), dan responden yang mengalami burnout beresiko memiliki tingkat konsentrasi belajar yang sedang - rendah sebesar 5,684 kali (OR= 4.828, 95% CI = 0,611 - 52,876). Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara burnout dengan tingkat konsentrasi belajar pada mahasiswa pre-klinik Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Pelita Harapan dan burnout berisiko menyebabkan penurunan tingkat konsentrasi belajar. Kata Kunci: Burnout, Tingkat Konsentrasi Belajar, Mahasiswa, Kedokteran. / Background: Burnout is the result of work pressure and professional demands that cause physical and psychological exhaustion, accompanied by symptoms such as increased levels of emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and decreased feelings of personal accomplishment. Medical students begin to experience burnout during their education. Students who experience burnout in learning have difficulty focusing or having difficulty concentrating. Aim: Analysing the relationship between burnout and the level of learning concentration in pre-clinical students at the Faculty of Medicine, Pelita Harapan University Tools and Methods: This research is an unpaired comparative analytical study using a cross-sectional method, with a sample size of 97 students. The sample will be selected using convenient sampling using a non-probability method. In this study the data will be analyzed using the Chi Square statistical test method.Result and Discussion: From this research, 55 respondents (56.7%) experienced burnout and 92 respondents (94.8%) had moderate to low levels of concentration. Chi-square analysis found a significant relationship between burnout and the level of study concentration in pre-clinical students at the Faculty of Medicine, Pelita Harapan University (p-value <0.001), and respondents who experienced burnout were at risk of having a moderate - low level of study concentration of 5.684 times (OR = 4.828, 95% CI = 0.611 - 52.876).Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between burnout and the level of study concentration in pre-clinical students at the Faculty of Medicine, Pelita Harapan University and burnout has the risk of causing a decrease in the level of study concentration.
