Abstract

Wanita mengalami sekitar 450 menstruasi sepanjang hidupnya, sehingga penting untuk memahami siklus menstruasi dan tantangannya, seperti manajemen kebersihan menstruasi dan nyeri haid. Aplikasi pelacakan menstruasi telah menjadi populer, dengan lebih dari 200 juta unduhan, untuk memantau siklus menstruasi pengguna dan meringankan masalah terkait. Mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara penggunaan aplikasi pelacakan menstruasi terhadap kesehatan reproduksi mahasiswi preklinik Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Pelita Harapan. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi potong lintang yang dilaksanakan pada 81 mahasiswi Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Pelita Harapan dengan teknik convenience sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner MPNS-36 dan WaLIDD score. Di antara 81 partisipan, 46 orang menggunakan aplikasi pelacakan menstruasi sementara 35 orang tidak. 58,7% pengguna aplikasi dan 62,9% non-pengguna aplikasi merasa kebetuhan menstruasinya terpenuhi di rumah (p=0,881). Di sekolah dan selama transportasi, 23,9% pengguna aplikasi dan 20% non-pengguna merasa kebutuhan mereka terpenuhi (p=0,881). Dalam hal keandalan material menstruasi, 52,2% pengguna aplikasi dan 57,1% non-pengguna memiliki pengalaman yang positif (p=0,826). Untuk keamanan saat penggantian dan pembuangan material menstruasi, 84,8% pengguna aplikasi dan 88,6% non-pengguna merasa aman (p=0,868). Terakhir, 21,7% pengguna aplikasi dan 40% non-pengguna melaporkan tidak mengalami dismenore atau dismenore ringan (p=0,124). Tidak terdapat hubungan antara penggunaan aplikasi pelacakan menstruasi terhadap kesehatan reproduksi mahasiswi preklinik Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Pelita Harapan. / Women undergo around 450 menstrual cyles throughout their lifetime, highlighting the need of understanding the menstrual cycle and its challenges, including menstrual hygiene management and menstrual pain. Menstrual tracking apps have become popular, with over 200 million downloads, to monitor users’ menstrual cycles and mitigate associated problems. To know whether there is a relationship between the use of menstrual tracking applications and the reproductive health of preclinical students in the Faculty of Medicine, Pelita Harapan University. This study employed a cross-sectional study design, which involved 81 students from the Faculty of Medicine at Pelita Harapan University. The participants were selected using a convenience sample technique. This study utilized the MPNS-36 questionnaire and WaLIDD score. Among the 81 participants, 46 used a menstrual tracking app while 35 did not. 58.7% of app users and 62.9% of non-app users felt their menstrual needs were met at home (p=0.881). At school and transportation, 23.9% of app users and 20% of non- users felt their needs were met (p=0.881). In terms of the reliability of menstrual materials, 52.2% of app users and 57.1% of non-users had a positive experience (p=0.826). For safety when replacing and disposing of menstrual materials, 84.8% of app users and 88.6% of non-users felt safe (p=0.868). Finally, 21.7% of app users and 40% of non-users reported no dysmenorrhea or mild dysmenorrhea (p=0.124). There is no relationship between the use of menstrual tracking application and the reproductive health of preclinical students in the Faculty of Medicine, Pelita Harapan University.
