Abstract
Setiap kelas di dalamnya pasti memiliki siswa yang beragam dan unik termasuk dalam kemampuan kognitif dan afektif siswa. Kelebihan dari kelas 7 adalah siswa yang cepat mengerti materi dan kreatif tetapi masih kurang dalam literasi sains dan sikap ilmiah yang mengakibatkan minat belajar mereka dalam Biologi menjadi rendah. Enduring understanding dalam topik ekologi beserta dinamikanya dalam pencemaran lingkungan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berkolaborasi siswa di dalam kelas dan membantu siswa sebagai gambar dan rupa Allah untuk menjaga dan mengelola bumi sehingga siswa akan mempelajari tentang ekologi dan merancang upaya untuk mengatasi pencemaran lingkungan. Pada bab ini guru menerapkan model pembelajaran dengan pembelajaran kolaboratif untuk meningkat kemampuan berkolaborasi siswa dalam menyelesaikan suatu tugas. Hasil dari implementasi pembelajaran kolaboratif ini adalah 5 siswa mengalami peningkatan nilai. Guru menyadari masih terdapat kendala dalam penyampaian materi, sehingga diharapkan guru dapat belajar lebih baik lagi dalam menyadari dan melihat keunikan siswa secara personal untuk menentukan kolaborasi keunikan siswa yang satu dengan lainnya. Hal yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran selanjutnya adalah ketepatan komposisi anggota kelompok siswa, menggunakan model pembelajaran kolaboratif lebih banyak, dan mengintegrasikan topik ini dengan mata pelajaran lainnya. / In every class, there are diverse and unique students including students’ cognitive and affective competence. Class 7 are quick learners and creative students but lack in science literary and scientific attitude which resulted in low learning interest in Biology. The enduring understanding of ecology and its dynamics in environmental pollution aims to enhance students' learning interest in Biology and help students as God's image as the preserver and caretaker of the earth. In this chapter, the teacher applies a collaborative learning strategy that helps students understand the learning material and enhances students' learning interests and collaboration skills in the classroom. The result of implementing the collaborative learning strategy shows that 5 students experienced an improvement in grades. Reflection from the learning process shows that there were technical challenges found in delivering the material, hence the teacher is expected to study more in recognizing and identifying students' uniqueness personally to determine whether the unique collaboration between students and each other is possible. To improve future learning, improvements can be made such as accuracy in grouping composition, applying the collaborative learning strategy more, and integrating this topic with other subjects.
