Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis pola komunikasi interpersonal antara guru dan siswa di Sekolah Madinah dalam membentuk konsep diri anak. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa komunikasi verbal, seperti validasi perasaan, bahasa pijakan, pertanyaan reflektif, dan pernyataan langsung, serta komunikasi non-verbal seperti kontak mata, ekspresi wajah, dan sentuhan fisik positif, berperan signifikan dalam membangun konsep diri anak. Guru yang menciptakan komunikasi yang positif, suportif, dan empatik dapat membantu anak memahami emosi, meningkatkan rasa percaya diri, dan mengelola interaksi sosial dengan lebih baik. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi panduan bagi pendidik untuk mengembangkan lingkungan belajar yang mendukung pertumbuhan sosial- emosional anak. / This study analyzes the interpersonal communication patterns between teachers and students at Madinah School in shaping children's self-concept. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the research finds that verbal communication, such as emotional validation, guiding language, reflective questioning, and direct statements, as well as non-verbal communication, such as eye contact, facial expressions, and positive physical touch, play a significant role in developing children's self-concept. Teachers who foster positive, supportive, and empathetic communication can help children understand emotions, enhance self-confidence, and manage social interactions more effectively. This research is expected to serve as a guide for educators in creating a learning environment that supports children's social-emotional growth.
