Restorative Justice is a new concept in Indonesia, Restorative Justice (RJ) is a mechanism for resolving criminal cases that focuses on the recovery of victims which is preceded by the perpetrator's willingness to admit guilt and promise to be responsible for his actions towards the victim, This Restorative Justice (RJ) process involves the community. In this case the author found that there were legal problems, especially in the regulatory section. Regulation No. 8 of 2021 regulates Restorative Justice in the police sector, while Regulation No. 5 of 2020 regulates Restorative Justice in the prosecutor's office. In this case, there is a lack of synchronization of regulations, especially in the requirements section, which creates problems of legal uncertainty in Regulation No. 15 of 2020 for the Prosecutor's Office. The method used in this case is a qualitative method which compares regulations, case studies and interviews as additional data. The author concludes that there is still legal uncertainty after comparing these two regulations comprehensively, especially in the requirements section. As well as suggesting synchronization of regulations, especially in the requirements section of Prosecutor's Regulation No. 15 of 2020 concerning restorative justice.
