Abstract

Kegiatan pembelajaran yang efektif harus memperhatikan latar belakang murid yang di ajar. Dengan memperhatikan latar belakang murid sekolah yang berasal dari pedalaman Papua, mahasiswa guru dapat merancang pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan konteks murid. Di sisi lain guru diharapkan akan menolong murid melihat dan merasakan kebaikan Tuhan melalui setiap hal yang terjadi. Dengan hal ini, murid dapat semakin menghargai semua hal yang terjadi dalam kehidupan mereka. Melihat hal ini, mahasiswa guru merancang pembelajaran dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran inkuiri. Strategi ini diharapkan menolong murid dapat belajar melihat sesuatu dengan kritis dan dapat menyampaikannya pendapat mereka dengan tepat dan berani di dalam kelas. Selama pembelajaran mahasiswa guru melihat perkembangan murid yang semakin baik, terlihat dengan keaktifan murid di dalam kelas serta hasil belajar murid yang baik. Penulis bersyukur mendapat kesempatan mengajar di sekolah M, karena menolong penulis semakin bertumbuh dan semakin mempersiapkan diri. Mahasiswa guru menyadari belum melakukan yang yang terbaik selama masa praktik, namun hal ini menjadi pembelajaran ke depannya sehingga dapat memperhatikan kesiapan diri dengan lebih baik lagi dan totalitas dalam mengajar maupun persiapan bahan ajar. Pengalaman di sekolah menolong mahasiswa guru untuk semakin melihat panggilan sebagai seorang guru merupakan tugas yang Tuhan berikan dalam hidup, sehingga harus dikerjakan dengan setia. / Effective learning activities must pay attention to the background of the students being taught. By paying attention to the background of School M students who come from the interior of Papua, student teachers can design learning that suits the students' needs and context. On the other hand, teachers are expected to help students see and feel God's goodness through everything that happens. With this, students can increasingly appreciate all the things that happen in their lives. Seeing this, student teachers design learning using inquiry learning strategies. This strategy is expected to help students learn to look at things critically and express their opinions accurately and boldly in the classroom. During student learning, teachers see students' development getting better, as seen in students' activeness in class and good student learning outcomes. The author is grateful to have the opportunity to teach at school M, because it helps the author grow and prepare himself further. Student teachers realize that they have not done their best during the practice period, but this is a lesson for the future so that they can pay better attention to their own readiness and totality in teaching and preparing teaching materials. Experience at school helps student teachers to increasingly see that their 2 calling as a teacher is a task that God has given them in life, so they must be carried out faithfully.
