Abstract
pemerintah, LSM, dan masyarakat, serta pengembangan kampanye berbasis data untuk mencapai dampak yang lebih signifikan./Climate change is a pressing global issue, particularly in Indonesia, where the impacts of human activities damaging the environment are increasingly evident. This research aims to evaluate the impact of Greenpeace’s campaigns related to climate change caused by human activities in Indonesia. Using an explanatory methodology, this research will investigate how the campaigns focus on raising awareness among the community regarding environmentally destructive behaviors such as deforestation, fossil fuel usage, and waste disposal. Highlighting human activity as the primary cause of climate change is crucial in efforts to promote responsible behavior changes. The findings show that Greenpeace's campaigns successfully increased public awareness about the importance of environmental protection and reducing individual carbon footprints. However, there remain challenges in changing widespread societal behavior. This research concludes that achieving significant outcomes necessitates collaboration among non-government organizations (NGOs), governments, and society in implementing concrete actions for climate mitigation. Greenpeace's success demonstrates that effective campaigning relies heavily on multi-stakeholder collaborations and adaptive approaches tailored to local needs. This research contributes theoretically and practically concerning communication strategies and advocacy in environmental protection contexts. Recommendations aim towards enhancing cooperation between government agencies, NGOs, and communities along with developing data-driven campaigns to achieve greater impacts.
