Abstract

Keberagaman latar belakang siswa menjadi dorongan dan motivasi bagi guru sebagai pendidik untuk merancang pembelajaran dengan baik dan tepat. Siswa dengan berbagai keberagaman juga dilengkapi dengan berbagai kreativitas dalam mengekspresikan pikiran, ide, atau perasaan. Ungkapan ekspresi itu dapat dicerminkan melalui puisi sebagai salah satu karya sastra yang indah. Penerapan topik puisi sebagai salah satu materi pembelajaran dilakukan menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri. Model pembelajaran tersebut bertujuan untuk mendorong siswa secara aktif mencari, menemukan, dan menghasilkan karya melalui proses berpikir yang kreatif. Model pembelajaran inkuiri yang diterapkan oleh guru dalam proses belajar mengajar mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa. Hasil belajar siswa secara keseluruhan tergolong baik dan memuaskan. Hal tersebut terlihat dari nilai yang didapatkan oleh seluruh siswa dalam kelas tersebut, baik itu penilaian formatif maupun penilaian sumatif. Namun, terlepas dari hasil akhir yang baik dan memuaskan, sebagai pendidik harus terus berefleksi dan melakukan perbaikan. Salah satu perbaikan yang harus diperbarui terus menerus sesuai latar belakang, minat, dan gaya belajar siswa adalah mengenai metode pembelajaran. Refleksi dan perbaikan yang dilakukan oleh guru secara terus menerus akan membawa dampak yang baik bagi guru dan murid pada pembelajaran selanjutnya./The diversity of student backgrounds is an encouragement and motivation for teachers as educators to design learning well and appropriately. Students with various diversities are also equipped with various creativity in expressing thoughts, ideas, or feelings. The expression can be reflected through poetry as one of the beautiful literary works. The application of the topic of poetry as one of the learning materials is carried out using the inquiry learning model. The learning model aims to encourage students to actively seek, find, and produce work through a creative thinking process. The inquiry learning model applied by teachers in the teaching and learning process affects student learning outcomes. Overall student learning outcomes are good and satisfying. This can be seen from the scores obtained by all students in the class, both formative and summative assessments. However, despite the good and satisfying final results, as educators we must continue to reflect and make improvements. One of the improvements that must be updated continuously according to the background, interests, and learning styles of students is regarding learning methods. Reflection and improvement carried out by teachers continuously will have a good impact on teachers and students in further learning.
