Abstract

Sebagai negara yang masih berkembang, tentu saja ada banyak hal yang masih menjadi titik fokus Indonesia untuk dikembangan sebagai upaya untuk memajukan negara. Pendidikan merupakan salah satu bidang yang ingin Indone-sia kembangkan, karena melihat dari situasi dan kondisi dari yang terjadi di lapangan, masih banyak sekali aspek yang belum memadai. Dalam hal ini ada fasilitas, tenaga pendidik, dan bahan pengajaran yang dinilai masih kurang untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dari anak-anak. Konvensi Hak Anak (Convention on the Rights of the Child) atau CRC hadir sebagai perjanjian yang berisikan ten-tang hak dari anak-anak untuk mendapatkan kelayakan dalam menjalani ke-hidupan mereka. Pengimplementasian CRC dalam kebijakan pendidikan di Indo-nesia tentunya harus diterjemahkan terebih dahulu. Setelah diterjemahkan kedalam kebijakan pendidikan di Indonesia, maka hasil dari implementasi CRC kedalam kebijakan pendidikan di Indonesia akan terlihat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif untuk menjelaskan bagaimana dinamika yang terjadi serta hasil yang dicapai dalam penerapan CRC. Teori yang digunakan da-lam penelitian ini yaitu teori neoliberalisme yang memiliki peran sebagai pe-doman dan panduan dari penelitian ini. Berdasarkan hasil yang didapatkan, pen-didikan yang ada di Indonesia sudah cukup meningkat jika dilihat dari angka lu-lusan pertahunnya dalam kurun waktu 10 tahun terakhir. Tetapi memang dalam beberapa aspek seperti fasilitas dan tenaga pengajar masih belum merata di se-luruh sekolah yang ada di Indonesia. / As a developing country, Indonesia faces numerous challenges in advancing its national priorities. Education is one of the key areas requiring improvement, as many aspects remain inadequate based on current conditions, including facilities, teaching staff, and learning materials. The Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) emphasizes the rights of children to access a decent life, including quality education. The implementation of CRC in Indonesia's education policies in-volves translating its principles into actionable policies. This study examines the dynamics and outcomes of CRC implementation using a qualitative method. Ne-oliberalism theory guides the analysis, providing a framework to understand the process. Findings indicate a significant improvement in Indonesia’s education system, reflected in increasing graduation rates over the last decade. However, disparities in facilities and the distribution of qualified teachers persist, highlight-ing the need for more equitable resource allocation across schools nationwide.
