Abstract
In the current modern era, the financial sector has started to digitalize, and
this can be seen through the utilization of mobile banking applications. PT Bank
Permata Tbk is one of the banks in Indonesia that launched a mobile banking
application, namely PermataMobile X, which offers around 200 features. However,
the level of intention to use PermataMobile X is still considered quite low.
Therefore, the purpose of his research is to analyze the influence of perceived ease
of use and perceived usefulness on intention to use PermataMobile X in Medan
with trust as a mediating variable.
This quantitative research collects data through questionnaires in Google
Forms which are distributed to 100 PermataMobile X users in Medan who are
chosen using purposive sampling. This research analyzes data using the partial least
squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) in SmartPLS.
The research result indicates that perceived ease of use and perceived
usefulness have a significant influence on trust toward PermataMobile X in Medan,
and perceived usefulness has a significant influence on intention to use
PermataMobile X in Medan. However, perceived ease of use and trust have no
significant influence on intention to use PermataMobile X in Medan, and perceived
ease of use and perceived usefulness have no significant influence on intention to
use PermataMobile X in Medan through trust./ Di era modern saat ini, perusahaan sektor keuangan telah mulai melakukan
digitalisasi, dan hal ini dapat terlihat melalui penggunaan aplikasi mobile banking.
PT Bank Permata Tbk merupakan salah satu bank di Indonesia yang meluncurkan
aplikasi mobile banking, yaitu PermataMobile X yang menawarkan sekitar 200
fitur. Namun, minat untuk menggunakan PermataMobile X dinilai masih cukup
rendah. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian tersebut adalah untuk menganalisis
pengaruh persepsi kemudahan penggunaan dan persepsi manfaat terhadap niat
menggunakan PermataMobile X di Medan melalui kepercayaan sebagai variabel
mediasi.
Penelitian kuantitatif ini mengumpulkan data melalui kuesioner di Google
Forms yang disebarkan kepada 100 pengguna PermataMobile X di Medan yang
dipilih menggunakan purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menganalisis data
menggunakan model partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM)
di SmartPLS.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi kemudahan penggunaan dan
persepsi manfaat memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kepercayaan terhadap
PermataMobile X di Medan, dan persepsi manfaat memiliki pengaruh signifikan
terhadap niat menggunakan PermataMobile X di Medan. Namun, persepsi
kemudahan penggunaan dan kepercayaan tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan
terhadap niat menggunakan PermataMobile X di Medan, dan persepsi kemudahan
penggunaan dan persepsi manfaat tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap
niat menggunakan PermataMobile X di Medan melalui kepercayaan.
