Abstract
French is a popular foreign language subject at the high school level, as it offers various opportunities and advantages for students in a global context. The appropriate use of interactive media can support French language learning, allowing students to experience optimal development. This research elaborates on the development of the Conjugation Wheel Interactive PowerPoint (CWIPPT), designed to meet the needs and enhance the understanding of verb conjugation for 11th-grade students in Jakarta. This R&D study employs the ADDIE model, which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation, along with a quantitative experimental approach. This study involved a total of five schools. Fourteen grade 11 French language students from XYZ High School in South Jakarta were selected as subjects for the micro test, while 172 grade 11 French language students from four other schools in Jakarta participated as subjects for the macro test. A pre-test-post-test design was applied, involving 60 grade 11 french students from SMA Negeri 85 Jakarta, divided into experimental and control groups. Data collection tools included observations, interviews, rubrics, questionnaires, and the CWIPPT media, which has been validated by experts. Through an T-test Paired Sample, the results indicate that the CWIPPT is highly effective in significantly improving students' understanding of French verb conjugation. Additionally, students experienced high levels of satisfaction and motivation while using the CWIPPT media. / Bahasa Prancis merupakan pembelajaran bahasa asing yang cukup diminati di tingkat Sekolah Menengah Atas, karena menawarkan berbagai peluang dan keunggulan bagi siswa dalam konteks global. Pemanfaatan media interaktif yang tepat dapat mendukung pembelajaran Bahasa Prancis sehingga siswa dapat mengalami perkembangan yang optimal. Penelitian ini mengelaborasi pengembangan media Conjugation Wheel Interactive PowerPoint (CWIPPT) yang dirancang untuk memenuhi kebutuhan dan meningkatkan pemahaman konjugasi kata kerja Bahasa Prancis siswa kelas 11 SMA di Jakarta. Penelitian R&D ini menggunakan model ADDIE yang mencakup analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi, serta pendekatan eksperimental kuantitatif. Penelitian ini total melibatkan lima sekolah. Siswa kelas 11 di SMA XYZ Jakarta Selatan dengan jumlah 14 orang menjadi subyek tes mikro dan 172 siswa kelas 11 dari empat sekolah di Jakarta sebagai subyek tes makro. Desain pre-test-post-test diterapkan dengan melibatkan 60 siswa kelas 11 dari SMA Negeri 85 Jakarta, dibagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Alat pengumpulan data mencakup observasi, wawancara, rubrik, kuesioner, dan media CWIPPT yang telah divalidasi oleh para ahli. Melalui uji T paired sample, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa CWIPPT sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konjugasi kata kerja Bahasa Prancis siswa secara signifikan. Selain itu, siswa juga mengalami tingkat kepuasan dan motivasi yang tinggi saat menggunakan media CWIPPT.
