Abstract
Creativity in writing skills is crucial for literacy and academic development. Cooperative development is a key aspect of collaborative learning. An observation conducted in a Primary Two class at one of the schools in Bandar Lampung. The results have indicated that 57.5% of the students exhibit a lack of creativity in writing and insufficient cooperation skills. The aim of this research is to determine the level of student cooperation and writing skills of Primary Two Students at XYZ School in Bandar Lampung after implementing the Think Pair Share method. The research employed in a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design, conducted over two cycles with 26 student respondents. The instruments used included students' test sheets, classroom teachers' observation sheets, other teachers' observation sheets, students' questionnaires, and the researcher’s reflection sheets. The results have shown that the implementation of the Think Pair Share (TPS) method improved writing skills and cooperation. In cycle 1, 61.53% of students showed improvement. Following the second cycle, 76.92% demonstrated an increase compared to cycles 1 and 2. Through these improvements they are able to use punctuations, capital letters and word structures better. / Keterampilan menulis berperan penting dalam pengembangan literasi serta perkembangan akademis siswa. Pengembangan kerja sama menjadi aspek yang sangat relevan dalam konteks pembelajaran berkolaborasi. Observasi yang dilakukan di sebuah sekolah Bandar Lampung kelas II oleh peneliti menunjukkan bahwa 57.7% siswa kurang dalam keterampilan menulis dan kerja sama. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui tingkat kerja sama siswa dan keterampilan menulis siswa kelas II di Sekolah XYZ Bandar Lampung setelah penerapan metode Think Pair Share. Penelitian yang digunakan ialah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang berlangsung selama dua siklus dengan responden sebanyak 26 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan ialah: lembar tes siswa, lembar observasi wali kelas, lembar observasi guru lain, angket siswa serta lembar refleksi peneliti. Hasil penelitian penerapan metode TPS dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis dan kerja sama. Pada siklus 1 terdapat 61,53% siswa sudah mengalami peningkatan kelulusan pada keterampilan menulis. Kemudian peneliti melakukan siklus kedua terdapat 76,92% terdapat peningkatan dari siklus 1 dan siklus 2. Melalui peningkatan tersebut mereka mampu menggunakan tanda baca, huruf kapital dan struktuk kata lebih baik.
