Abstract

Turnover intention is willingness to leave the current job, which usually caused by several factors such as individual, group or company factors. In healthcare, turnover intention can affect organization and also the quality of care. This research conducted with aims to analyze the relationship between workload, burnout, and job satisfaction on general practitioner turnover intention in Indonesia. This study involved 188 general practitioner who worked in hospital or clinic. Primary data was collected using questionnaire which contains of 29 questions with Likert scale 1-5. Purposive sampling technique was used as a sampling method. The data was analyzed using partial least square-structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4 version 4.1.0.8 software. The results showed that workload and burnout had positive effects while job satisfaction plays role as negative effects on general practitioner turnover intention. Therefore, management should be aware of workload and burnout issues, and also improve the job satisfaction among general practitioners in order to prevent turnover intention. / Turnover intention merupakan keinginan untuk pindah atau keluar dari pekerjaan. Turnover intention yang tinggi dapat merugikan rumah sakit dan mengganggu kualitas pelayanan pasien. Terdapat beberapa faktor yang memengaruhi turnover intention yaitu faktor individu, kelompok, maupun perusahaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara workload, burnout, dan job satisfaction terhadap turnover intention pada dokter umum di Indonesia. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara online dengan melibatkan 188 responden dokter umum yang bekerja sebagai klinisi di rumah sakit maupun klinik di seluruh Indonesia. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner berisi 29 pertanyaan dengan Skala Likert 1 – 5 berdasarkan metode purposive sampling. Hasil pengisian kuesioner akan dianalisa dengan metode partial least squarestructural equation modelling (PLS-SEM).Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa workload dan burnout memiliki pengaruh positif serta job satisfaction memiliki pengaruh negatif yang signifikan terhadap turnover intention pada dokter umum yang bekerja di rumah sakit/klinik. Oleh karena itu, manajemen harus memerhatikan beban kerja dan tingkat burnout serta kepuasan kerja dokter umum untuk mencegah terjadinya turnover intention.
