Abstract
Rules and procedures merupakan salah satu bagian yang penting dalam proses pembelajaran. Siswa membutuhkan suatu rule untuk mereka dapat melaksanakan proses pembelajaran, mereka juga membutuhkan procedures untuk dapat melakukan kegiatan pada waktu proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan manajemen kelas pada siswa kelas VIIIC (n=24) disalah satu SMP swasta di Semarang tahun ajaran 2009/2010 dengan penggunaan rules and procedures yang dilaksanakan pada 4 Juli 2009 sampai 29 November 2009. Desain penelitian merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan dua siklus. Data dikumpulkan melalui instrumen penelitian berupa lembar observasi, wawancara, lembar evaluasi praktikum mengajar, dokumientasi, yang disajikan secara deskripsitf. Berdasarakan teori-teori dan dan penemuan yang relevan, dan dapat dirumuskan bahwa dengan penggunaan rules and procedures pada kelas akting bahasa Indonesia manajemen kelas dapat meningkat. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa melalui penggunaan rules and procedures dalam pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan manajemen kelas. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan juga untuk mata pelajaran yang lainnya di sekolah.

Rules and procedures is one of the important part of learning process. Students need a rule to implement their learning process, they also need procedures to be able to perform activities take place during the learning process. The perpose of this research is to increase grade VIIIC students’ classroom management in one of private Middle School in Semarang. 2009/2010 academic year with the applaying of rules and procedures , that held on July 4, 2009 until November 29, 2009. The research design is classroom action research that consist of two cycles. The gathering oh the data using instruments such as observation sheets, evaluation sheets, and documentation which present in a descriotive form. Based on the theories and findings, the hypothesis could be as the use of rules and procedures in the bahasa Indonesia acting classroom management. May the result of this study would be used in the same are of the knowledge.
