Abstract
This study examines the impact of transactional leadership, compensation,
and organizational culture on employee performance, with work motivation as a
mediating variable at Hotel XYZ. A quantitative approach was employed, involving
a questionnaire survey of 110 Hotel XYZ employees in Makassar. Sampling
determination using the Krejcie & Morgan (1970) technique. Data analysis was
carried out using the Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLSSEM)
technique.. The results indicate that transactional leadership does not
significantly influence employee performance, while compensation and
organizational culture have a significant positive effect. Work motivation is proven
to mediate the influence of organizational culture on employee performance. This
research benefits Hotel XYZ by informing strategies to enhance employee
performance through a focus on developing organizational culture and work
motivation. / Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh kepemimpinan
transaksional, kompensasi dan budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan
dengan motivasi kerja sebagai variabel mediasi pada Hotel XYZ. Pendekatan
kuantitatif digunakan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 110 karyawan Hotel
XYZ di Makassar. Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik Krejcie & Morgan
(1970). Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan teknik Partial Least Square-
Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa
kepemimpinan transaksional tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja
karyawan, sedangkan kompensasi dan budaya organisasi berpengaruh positif dan
signifikan. Motivasi kerja terbukti memediasi pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap
kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini bermanfaat bagi Hotel XYZ dalam meningkatkan
kinerja karyawan melalui strategi yang berfokus pada pengembangan budaya
organisasi dan motivasi kerja.
