Abstract

Pengelolaan kelas sangat berhubungan langsung dengan proses pembelajaran. Pengelolaan kelas yang efektif merupakan prasyarat mutlak bagi berlangsungnya kegiatan belajar mengajar yang baik. Salah satu faktor pendorong berlangsungnya proses belajar mengajar yang efektif adalah penyediaan kondisi yang menguntungkan, kondisi fisik dan kondisi emosional. Pengelolaan kelas ini dilakukan untuk menghasilkan pembelajaran efektif pada pembelajaran biologi di kelas XI IPA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas, dengan menggunakan model penelitian tindakan kelas dari Kemmis & McTaggart. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam tiga siklus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, tes dan catatan harian yang digunakan dalam setiap siklus penelitian di kelas XI IPA di salah satu SMA Kristen di Lampung. Dari hasil penelitian tindakan kelas, terlihat bahwa pengelolaan kelas pada pembelajaran biologi dapat menciptakan pembelajaran efektif. / Classroom management is directly related to the learning process. Effective classroom management is an absolute prerequisite for the good learning and teaching. Process of the factors of the effective teaching and learning process is the provision of good conditions, physical condition and emotional condition. The classroom management is done to produce effective learning in the study of biology in class XI IPA. Research method used was action research methods, using the class-action research model of Kemmis & McTaggart. This research was conducted in three cycles. Data was collected through observation, interviews, tests and records that are daily used in every studies cycle in class XI IPA in one private Christian high school in Lampung. From the results of classroom action research, it shown that biology class learning management was resulting in effective learning.
