Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and perceived security on continuance intention, as well as the influence of perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and perceived security on customer satisfaction in the context of using e-wallet services. Apart from that, this research also examines the role of customer satisfaction as a mediating variable in the relationship between perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and perceived security with continuance intention. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with an explanatory approach. The sample for this research is e-wallet users in Jakarta, with the criteria being 17 years of age and over, having an e-wallet account, actively using e-wallet for the last six months, and having more than two e-wallet accounts. Data collection was carried out through a survey by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents. Data analysis was carried out using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the help of SmartPLS software. The results of the analysis show that perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and perceived security have a positive effect on continuance intention. Apart from that, perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness also have a positive effect on customer satisfaction, while perceived security does not have a significant effect on customer satisfaction. However, customer satisfaction has a positive influence on continuance intention. These findings provide a better understanding of the factors that influence users' intention to continue using e-wallet services, as well as the importance of user satisfaction as a mediator in this relationship.
