Abstract

Throughout the years, discipline problems are the common problems in school and classrooms. There are many ways developed to discipline our students so that they can obey the rules and behave. But, the discipline problems always occur and it is increase throughout the years. Students are becoming more disrespect their teacher and don’t want to be disciplined. So, a research of how can discipline best applied and maintained in classrooms is needed. The methodology research used in this paper is a classroom action research. The data collection was done in a private school in Lampung, particularly to grade 8 in music lesson. There are 3 cycles of classroom action research used in this paper where the data will be analyzed. Observations from mentor and the researcher himself will also used to strengthen the data. There are also journal reflections made by the researcher everyday that will be used as methodology instruments as well. From the research, it can be concluded that throughout positive relationship between student and teacher which reflects love, can reduce the discipline problems in class. / Selama bertahun – tahun, masalah kedisiplinan adalah suatu masalah yang umum di sekolah dan di dalam kelas. Ada banyak cara dikembangkan untuk mendisiplinkan siswa – siswi kita sehingga mereka mau menaati peraturan dan bersikap baik. Akan tetapi, masalah kedisiplinan selalu muncul dan bahkan meningkat setiap tahunnya. Siswa kini menjadi lebih tidak hormat kepada gurunya dan tidak mau didisiplinkan. Maka dari itu, sebuah penelitian tentang bagaimana disiplin dapat diterapkan dan dipertahankan dengan baik sangatlah diperlukan. Prosedur penelitian yang digunakan dalam tugas akhir ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada sebuah sekiolah swasta di Lampung, khususnya pada siswa – siswi kelas 8 dalam pelajaran musik. Ada 3 siklus yang akan digunakan dalam tugas akhir ini. Siklus tersebut akan digunakan untuk mengolah data. Observasi dari mentor dan penulis sendiri akan digunakan untuk menguatkan data yang ada. Jurnal refleksi penulis yang ditulis setiap hari juga akan digunakan sebagai instrumen penelitian. Dari penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui hubungan yang positif antara guru dan murid yang mencerminkan kasih, akan mengurangi masalah kedisiplinan di dalam kelas.
