Abstract
Sejarah merupakan pelajaran yang penting untuk dipelajari, karena dengan belajar sejarah siswa dapat mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis mereka. Namun kenyataannya pelajaran sejarah dianggap tidak penting. Hal ini karena metode pembelajaran yang digunakan kurang tepat. Guru selalu menggunakan metode ceramah dalam mengajar. Oleh karena itu untuk mengatasi masalah ini dibutuhkan metode baru dalam mengajar sejarah yaitu metode tanya jawab. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan metode tanya jawab dalam pelajaran sejarah kelas X, serta untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan metode tanya jawab terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Desain penelitian merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan tiga siklus. Analisa data menggunakan analisis deskriptif naratif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X yang berjumlah 16 orang pada salah satu SMA swasta di Lampung Timur. Adapun instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara dengan siswa, jurnal refleksi, dan dokumentasi melalui feedback mentor, feedback teacher educator, dan nilai siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa metode tanya jawab dapat diterapkan dalam pelajaran sejarah. Hal ini terlihat dari adanya pertanyaan-pertanyaan yang diajukan oleh guru dan jawaban-jawaban yang diberikan oleh siswa sebagai respon atas pertanyaan guru. Serta melalui penerapan metode tanya jawab pada pelajaran sejarah dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Hal ini terlihat dari kemampuan dalam menjawab pertanyaan yang diajukan oleh guru berdasarkan pemikiran pribadi mereka.

History is an important lesson to be learned, because by studying history students can develop their critical thinking skills. But in fact the lesson of history is not considered important. This is because teaching methods are used less precise. Teachers always use a lecture method of teaching. Therefore to overcome this problem requires new methods of teaching history is a method frequently asked questions. This study aims to determine the application in question and answer method of X-class history lesson, and to investigate the effect of applying the method of question and answer students' critical thinking skills. Design research is the Classroom Action Research (CAR) with three cycles. Data analysis using descriptive narrative analisys. The subjects were students of class X which amounts to 16 people at one private school in East Lampung. The research instruments used were observation, interviews with students, journal of reflection, feedback and documentation through a mentor, teacher educator feedback, and exchange students. The results showed that the method can be applied in a question and answer lessons of history. This is evident from the questions posed by the teacher and the answers given by students in response to teacher questions. And through the application of Q method in the lessons of history can enhance students' critical thinking skills. This can be seen from the ability in answering questions posed by teachers based on their personal thoughts.
