Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengontrol tingkah laku siswa kelas VII selama pembelajaran berlangsung melalui penerapan prosedur sehingga tercipta suasana belajar yang kondusif. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya kekacauan yang terjadi di dalam kelas selama pembelajaran berlangsung. Kekacauan tersebut terjadi karena guru kurang dapat mengelola kelas dengan baik dan juga karena tidak adanya prosedur yang jelas untuk diikuti oleh para siswa. Oleh karena itu, pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah manajemen kelas melalui penerapan prosedur selama pembelajaran berlangsung. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP kelas VII di salah satu sekolah Kristen di Lampung Tengah. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi oleh penulis, mentor, dan teacher educator. Selain itu, data juga dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan beberapa siswa secara random, dokumentasi berupa foto, lesson plan, dan juga kesaksian dari salah seorang mahasiswa yang melakukan praktikum di tempat di mana penelitian ini dilaksanakan. Observasi kelas sampai pelaksanaan penelitian dilakukan dari minggu keempat bulan Agustus sampai minggu pertama bulan November 2009. Hasil yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini adalah manajemen kelas melalui penerapan prosedur cukup bisa mengurangi dan mengontrol perilaku siswa yang mengganggu sehingga pembelajaran dapat berlangsung dengan baik dan kondusif. Hasil penerapan prosedur ini telihat dari aspek kognitif dan juga afektif siswa. Namun, penelitian ini sendiri lebih melihat ke aspek afektif siswa. Penulis melihat adanya perubahan sikap siswa dalam belajar. Para siswa lebih tenang dan berkonsentrasi mengikuti pelajaran. Dalam penelitian ini, para siswa dilatih untuk memiliki rasa tanggung jawab dengan menjalankan prosedur yang telah disepakati bersama sehingga perilaku mereka tidak merugikan orang lain.

This research is conducted with the purpose to control the seventh graders’ behavior during the teaching learning process by implementing the procedure to create conducive learning atmosphere. This research is grounded by the chaos occurring in the classroom during the teaching process. This chaos occurs due to the teacher lacking of classroom management and the clarity of procedure which leads the students not to follow the lesson well. The approach, therefore, used in this research is classroom management through the implementation of procedure during the teaching and learning process. The subjects of this research are Junior High School students in grade 7 of a Christian school in Central Lampung. The data is collected through observation conducted by the writer, mentor, and teacher educator. In addition to that, the data is collected by randomly interviewing some students. The documentation taken is in the form of photos, lesson plan, and testimony from one of the students who did teaching practicum where the researcher also did the research. The classroom observation is conducted on the forth week of August until the first week of November 2009. The result of this research is that the classroom management through the implementation of procedure seems to reduce and control the students’ behavior so that the learning process can run well and conductively. The results of implementing the procedure tend to show the students’ cognitive and affective aspects. However, the research itself tends to see the affective aspect. The writer can see the change in students’ attitude in learning. The students are more quite and concentrating in following the lesson. In this research, the students are trained to have a sense of responsibility by obeying the procedure which has been agreed upon together so that their behavior will not distract other people.
