Abstract

Di era globalisasi dan persaingan bisnis yang meningkat, peningkatan kinerja karyawan melalui penerapan gaya kepemimpinan yang efektif menjadi sangat krusial. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi oleh banyak perusahaan, termasuk PT. XYZ di Jakarta, adalah bagaimana cara meningkatkan kinerja karyawan melalui praktik kepemimpinan yang dapat memotivasi dan menginspirasi karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kinerja karyawan, dengan kepuasan kerja dan komitmen organisasi sebagai variabel mediasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei, menggunakan teknik sampling non-probabilitas. Sebanyak 160 karyawan dari PT. XYZ di Jakarta dipilih sebagai responden. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis jalur dalam model persamaan struktural. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan kinerja karyawan melalui peningkatan kepuasan kerja dan komitmen organisasi. Kedua variabel mediasi ini secara statistik berperan penting dalam memediasi pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kinerja karyawan. Berdasarkan hasil ini, disarankan agar PT. XYZ memfokuskan strategi pengembangan kepemimpinan yang tidak hanya mencapai target jangka pendek tetapi juga membina keterlibatan dan loyalitas jangka panjang karyawan. Hal ini akan membantu perusahaan dalam membangun tim yang lebih kuat dan produktif yang dapat menavigasi tantangan pasar dengan lebih efektif. Kata kunci: kepemimpinan transformasional, kinerja karyawan, kepuasan kerja, komitmen organisasi, analisis jalur. / In the era of globalization and increasing business competition, improving employee performance through the implementation of ef ective leadership styles is crucial. The main problem faced by many companies, including PT. XYZ in Jakarta, is how to improve employee performance through leadership practices that can motivate and inspire employees. This study aims to examine the influence of transformational leadership on employee performance, with job satisfaction and organizational commitment as mediating variables. The method used is quantitative with a survey approach, using non-probability sampling techniques. A total of 160 employees from PT. XYZ in Jakarta was selected as the respondent. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using path analysis in the structural equation model. The results of the study show that transformational leadership has a significant influence in improving employee performance through increased job satisfaction and organizational commitment. These two mediation variables statistically play an important role in mediating the influence of transformational leadership on employee performance. Based on these results, it is recommended that PT. XYZ focuses on leadership development strategies that not only achieve short-term targets but also foster long-term employee engagement and loyalty. This will help companies in building stronger and more productive teams that can navigate market challenges more efectively.
