Abstract
Kelas yang disiplin adalah hal yang sangat diinginkan oleh setiap guru. Oleh karena itu guru tidak pernah luput dari tugasnya sebagai orang yang memiliki tanggung jawab untuk mendisiplinkan setiap siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kedisplinan pada siswa Taman Kanak-kanak serta memperoleh respon siswa dengan menerapkan reward dan punishment sebagai konsekuensi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah model Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di salah satu Taman Kanak-kanak Kristen di Tangerang. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 16 orang siswa, terdiri dari 9 orang siswa laki-laki dan 7 siswa perempuan. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan data berupa lembar observasi mentor dan teacher educator, dan juga pengamatan langsung yang tertuang dalam jurnal refleksi yang ditulis peneliti setelah proses pembelajaran. Analisis data dari penelitian ini dilakukan secara deskriptif terhadap data-data yang diperoleh dari observasi (guru mentor dan teacher educator), refleksi dan pengamatan langsung oleh peneliti. Hasil analisis data yang dilakukan secara deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa penerapan konsekuensi berupa reward dan punishment dapat meningkatkan disiplin siswa Taman Kanak-kanak. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka disimpulkan bahwa penerapan konsekuensi berupa reward dan punishment dapat meningkatkan disiplin siswa Taman Kanak-kanak dan juga mendapatkan respon siswa yang sangat antusias dan senang.

Classroom discipline is the most desired by each teacher. Therefore, teachers have never missed from his duties as a person who has responsibility to discipline every student. The purpose of this research is to improve students’ discipline in the kindergarten and observe students’ responses about the application of reward and punishment as a consequence. Research method used is Classroom-Action Research model. This research was carried out in a Kindergarten Christian School in Tangerang. The subject’s of this research consisted of 16 students’ 9 boys and 7 girls. Instruments of research used the data sheets from mentor, teacher educator’s observation, and direct observation by researcher written in journal reflections about the learning process. The data analysis used is descriptive model toward the instruments that the researcher collected. Result of data analysis descriptively indicated that the application of reward and punishment can improve kindergarten students’ discipline. Based on the result of research, researcher could conclude that the application of reward and punishment, as a form of consequences can improve kindergarten students’ discipline and response students of this application was enthusiastic and happy.
