Abstract
Tanah gambut memiliki nilai CBR yang sangat rendah dan penurunan yang tinggi. Tanah gambut tanpa perkuatan tidak dapat dijadikan sebagai lapisan tanah dasar. Tanah dasar merupakan unsur penting dalam perancangan perkerasan jalan. Kualitas tanah dasar mempengaruhi tebal dan umur perkerasan jalan. Penilaian kualitas tanah dasar ditentukan dengan persentase nilai CBR. Pembangunan infrastruktur jalan memungkinkan untuk melewati lapisan tanah gambut sebagai tanah dasar. Penambahan kolom batuan dan matras bambu pada tanah gambut dapat meningkatkan nilai CBR. Namun, sifat lunak dan nilai CBR tanah gambut yang rendah tidak dapat memenuhi syarat sebagai lapisan tanah dasar. Sehingga, diperlukan lapisan tanah dasar tambahan berupa tanah stabilisasi dengan serbuk marmer agar perkerasan jalan lebih stabil. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemasangan kolom batuan dan matras bambu pada tanah gambut terhadap nilai CBR tanah dasar yang distabilisasi dengan serbuk marmer. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui uji model laboratorium pada tanah gambut yang diberi perkuatan kolom batuan dan matras bambu dengan variasi tunggal dan kelompok masing-masing panjang 20 cm, 35 cm, dan 50 cm. Kemudian, di atasnya dipadatkan tanah dasar yang sudah distabilisasi menggunakan serbuk marmer dengan ketebalan 10 cm dan 20 cm. Pengujian CBR dilakukan pada setiap skema sistem perkuatan masing-masing untuk tebal tanah stabilisasi 10 cm dan 20 cm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan kolom batuan dan matras bambu memberikan pengaruh pada peningkatan nilai CBR tanah dasar. Peningkatan nilai CBR juga dipengaruhi oleh tebal tanah stabilisasi. Sebagian besar tanah gambut yang diperkuat menghasilkan nilai CBR di atas 5% untuk tebal tanah stabilisasi 10 cm. Namun apabila tebal tanah stabilisasi ditambah sampai 20 cm, maka nilai CBR tanah dasar dapat mencapai di atas 10% dan memenuhi syarat sebagai timbunan pilihan.

Peat soils have very low CBR values and high settlement. Unreinforced peat soils cannot be used as a subgrade. Subgrade is an important element in pavement design. The quality of the subgrade affects the thickness and life of the pavement. Assessment of subgrade quality is determined by the percentage of CBR value. The development of road infrastructure makes it possible to pass through peat soil layers as subgrade. The application of stone column and bamboo mattress to peat soil can increase the CBR value. However, the soft nature and low CBR value of peat soil cannot qualify it as subgrade. Thus, an additional subgrade layer is required in the form of stabilized soil with marble ash to make the pavement more stable. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of installing stone columns and bamboo mattresses in peat soil on the CBR value of subgrade soil stabilized with marble ash. This research was conducted through laboratory model tests on peat soil reinforced with stone columns and bamboo mattresses with single and group variations of 20 cm, 35 cm, and 50 cm lengths, respectively. Then, the stabilized subgrade using marble ash with a thickness of 10 cm and 20 cm was compacted on top. The CBR test was conducted on each reinforcement system scheme for 10 cm and 20 cm thick stabilized soil. The results showed that the use of stone columns and bamboo mattresses had an impact on increasing the CBR value of the subgrade. The increase in CBR value is also influenced by the thickness of the stabilization soil. Most of the reinforced peat soils produced CBR values above 5% for 10 cm thick stabilized soil. However, if the thickness of the stabilization soil is increased to 20 cm, the CBR value of the subgrade can reach above 10% and qualify as preferred backfill.
