Abstract

Industri makanan menghadapi persaingan ketat, sehingga perusahaan perlu menjaga citra, kualitas, dan efisiensi kerja. Kualitas suatu produk sangat dipengaruhi oleh proses produksinya. Proses produksi berkaitan erat dengan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) sebagai penggerak. Dalam sebuah UKM yang masih mengandalkan proses manual, postur kerja SDMnya tentu menjadi salah satu faktor penting yang harus diperhatikan. Postur pekerja yang baik juga memiliki peranan dalam menciptakan efisiensi kerja dan kualitas produksi. Penting bagi sebuah UKM yang masih berjalan secara manual untuk memperhatikan keamanan serta kelayakan postur pekerjanya. UKM Raja Rawit, produsen saus sambal di Makassar, menjalankan produksi dengan tiga pekerja dan kapasitas dua ton cabai per bulan. Pekerja wanita sering mengalami keluhan fisik, khususnya pada bagian punggung dan pinggang, akibat postur kerja yang tidak ergonomis selama proses mencuci, meniriskan, dan memisahkan cabai. Kondisi ini mengharuskan perusahaan memperhatikan aspek ergonomi untuk menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang lebih aman dan nyaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis postur kerja pekerja di UKM Raja Rawit yang berpotensi menyebabkan risiko cedera, dimana pekerja wanita sering mengalami sakit pada bagian tulang belakang (lower back), pinggang, dan pundak setelah melakukan pencucian cabai. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi guna meminimalkan risiko cedera yang terjadi. Metode RULA dan REBA digunakan untuk menganalisis potensi risiko yang mungkin ditimbulkan dari postur pekerja UKM Raja Rawit. Analisis risiko sebelum penggunaan alat bantu menunjukkan bahwa proses penirisan memiliki skor RULA sebesar 7 yang berarti memiliki risiko tinggi yang membutuhkan perubahan segera dan REBA sebesar 11 yang berarti memiliki sangat risiko tinggi yang membutuhkan investigasi dan tindakan segera, sedangkan proses pembungkusan memiliki skor RULA sebesar 7 dan REBA sebesar 12 yang berarti memiliki risiko tinggi yang membutuhkan investigasi dan tindakan segera. Setelah penggunaan alat bantu, terjadi penurunan skor signifikan pada kedua proses tersebut. Pada proses penirisan skor RULA turun dari 7 menjadi 3, yang berarti risiko rendah dimana perubahan mungkin dibutuhkan, dan Skor REBA turun dari 11 menjadi 1, yang berarti risiko yang dapat diabaikan. Sementara itu, pada proses pembungkusan skor RULA juga turun dari 7 menjadi 3, menunjukkan risiko rendah dimana perubahan mungkin dibutuhkan, dan skor REBA turun dari 12, yang mengindikasikan risiko sangat tinggi, menjadi 3, yang mencerminkan risiko rendah dengan tindakan perbaikan bersifat opsional. Hal ini menunjukkan efektivitas alat bantu dalam meningkatkan ergonomi kerja. / The food industry faces intense competition, requiring companies to maintain their image, quality, and work efficiency. The quality of a product is heavily influenced by its production process. The production process is closely related to Human Resources (HR) asthe driving force. In small and medium-sized enterprises(SMEs) that still rely on manual processes, the posture of their workers is certainly one of the key factors that must be considered. Proper worker posture plays a role in creating work efficiency and production quality. It is important for an SME that still operates manually to pay attention to the safety and feasibility of their workers' posture. Raja Rawit SME, a producer of chili sauce in Makassar, operates with three workers and a capacity of two tons of chilies per month. Female workers often experience physical complaints, particularly in the back and waist, due to improper working posture during the processes of washing, draining, and sorting chilies. This condition requires the company to focus on ergonomic aspects to create a safer and more comfortable working environment. This study aims to analyze the working posture of workers at Raja Rawit SME that may potentially cause injury risks, where female workers often experience pain in the spine (lower back), waist, and shoulders after chili washing. The study also aims to provide solutions to minimize the injury risks. The RULA and REBA methods are used to analyze the potential risks posed by the workers' postures atRaja Rawit SME. The risk analysis before using assistive tools shows that the draining process has a RULA score of 7, indicating a high risk requiring immediate change, and a REBA score of 11, indicating a very high risk requiring immediate investigation and action. Meanwhile, the packaging process has a RULA score of 7 and a REBA score of 12, which means a high risk requiring investigation and immediate action. After the use of assistive tools, there was a significant decrease in scores for both processes. In the draining process, the RULA score dropped from 7 to 3, indicating low risk where changes may be needed, and the REBA score dropped from 11 to 1, indicating negligible risk. In the packaging process, the RULA score also dropped from 7 to 3, showing low risk where changes may be needed, and the REBA score decreased from 12, indicating very high risk, to 3, reflecting low risk with optional corrective actions. This demonstrates the effectiveness of assistive tools in improving work ergonomics.
