Abstract

In the middle of people busy work life, changing demographics and lifestyles have caused people to cook and eat at home less often than before, leading to a decrease in home-cooked meals. Although eating habits differ across regions, dining out or consuming food away from home has become a common practice embraced by diverse communities. The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of cafe atmosphere (X1), brand image (X2), and service quality (X3) on customer satisfaction (Y) at Common Folks Multatuli Medan.This research used a quantitative research method. Primary data is obtained using questionnaires, while secondary data is gathered from online journals and internet sources. A total of 97 individuals are included in this research, selected through non-probability sampling method. The analysis is conducted using SPSS 27 software. All hypotheses presented in this study are accepted. Hypothesis testing reveals that cafe atmosphere (X1), brand image (X2), and service quality (X3) have simultaneous influence on customer satisfaction at Common Folks Multatuli Medan. The coefficient of determination indicates that 43.1% of the variation in customer satisfaction is explained by these factors, while the remaining 56.9% is influenced by other variables not included in the study. Recommendation for Common Folks Multatuli Medan are reevaluating both the exterior and interior design of the cafe, enhance its market differentiation by refining its concept to better align with customer expectations and preferences and provided staff training programs, focusing on service precision and consistency./ Di tengah kesibukan kehidupan kerja masyarakat, perubahan demografi dan gaya hidup telah menyebabkan orang semakin jarang memasak dan makan di rumah, sehingga jumlah makanan rumahan mengalami penurunan. Meskipun kebiasaan makan berbeda di setiap daerah, makan di luar atau mengonsumsi makanan di luar rumah telah menjadi praktik umum yang diterima oleh berbagai komunitas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh suasana kafe (X1), citra merek (X2), dan kualitas pelayanan (X3) terhadap kepuasan pelanggan (Y) pada Common Folks Multatuli Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Data primer diperoleh melalui kuesioner, sedangkan data sekunder dikumpulkan dari jurnal online dan sumber internet. Sebanyak 97 responden terlibat dalam penelitian ini, yang dipilih melalui metode non-probability sampling. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS versi 27.0. Seluruh hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini diterima. Pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa suasana kafe (X1), citra merek (X2), dan kualitas layanan (Y) memiliki pengaruh simultan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan di Common Folks Multatuli Medan. Koefisien determinasi menunjukkan bahwa 43,1% variasi kepuasan pelanggan dijelaskan oleh faktor-faktor ini, sedangkan 56,9% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak termasuk dalam penelitian ini. Rekomendasi untuk Common Folks Multatuli Medan meliputi peninjauan ulang desain eksterior dan interior kafe, meningkatkan diferensiasi pasar dengan menyempurnakan konsep agar lebih sesuai dengan harapan dan preferensi pelanggan, serta menyediakan program pelatihan untuk staf yang berfokus pada ketepatan dan konsistensi layanan.
