Abstract

In the globalization era, businesses experience major changes in various aspects, for a business to be able to continue to operate and compete with other companies, business should be able to increase their firm value by generating profit, expanding their market and customer base through the release of new goods and services, and many other strategies in order to attract shareholder to invest or existing shareholders to increase their investment in the company. The purpose of this research is to investigate the impact of sales growth to firm value. Quantitative research methodology is used in this research. This research used secondary data of manufacturing companies registered on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the years 2021 – 2023. A total of 246 samples were drawn from the population of the 82 companies that made up the study using the purposive sampling technique. The multiple linear regression analysis is implemented in this research by using SPSS version 27. The results indicated that sales growth has a positive but not significant impact to firm value./Pada era globalisasi, bisnis mengalami perubahan besar dalam berbagai aspek, agar bisnis dapat terus beroperasi dan bersaing dengan perusahaan lain, bisnis harus dapat meningkatkan nilai perusahaan mereka dengan menghasilkan keuntungan, memperluas pasar dan basis pelanggan melalui peluncuran barang ataupun jasa, dan banyak strategi lainnya untuk menarik pemegang saham untuk berinvestasi atau pemegang saham yang ada untuk meningkatkan investasi mereka di perusahaan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menyelidiki pengaruh pertumbuhan penjualan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Metodologi penelitian kuantitatif digunakan di dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2021 – 2023. Total 246 sampel diambil dari populasi 82 perusahaan yang membentuk penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis regresi linear berganda akan dilakukan di dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 27. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertumbuhan penjualan mempunyai dampak yang positif akan tetapi tidak signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan.
