Abstract

This recipe book aims to introduce spice-based cocktails inspired by Indonesia's 10 Super Priority Destinations, combining cultural and natural elements into an engaging concept. Each recipe in this book utilizes unique regional spices, such as nutmeg from Maluku, cloves from Labuan Bajo, and ginger from Java, complemented by visual elements inspired by the scenic beauty of each destination. The book is designed to provide an authentic and innovative experience in flavor exploration while showcasing Indonesia’s rich spice heritage in the modern beverage industry. This study employs both quantitative and qualitative research methods, with data collection conducted through questionnaires and interviews with culinary business practitioners, beverage experts, and book designers. The questionnaire was designed to measure user satisfaction and interest in the recipe book format, while in-depth interviews provided insights into the aesthetic and functional aspects of the book. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistics to understand user preference patterns and thematic analysis to identify key themes related to the appeal of the recipe book. The research findings indicate that incorporating local ingredients into cocktails not only enhances flavor exploration but also strengthens cultural identity and local economic value. This book is expected to serve as a practical and inspirational guide for entrepreneurs, bartenders, and spice-based beverage enthusiasts. With its attractive design, intuitive layout, and informative narrative, the recipe book aims to be an educational tool that introduces Indonesia’s culinary richness to a wider audience.
