Abstract
This internship report discusses the procedures for identifying and settling disputes
related to torts as implemented at Eternity Global Law Firm, with a focus on Case
Number 66/Pdt.G/2024/PN.Jkt.Brt. The study highlights the importance of
professionalism and precision in managing legal cases, starting from the
identification of torts, collecting evidence, and determining appropriate dispute
resolution methods, whether through litigation or alternative methods such as
mediation and negotiation. Eternity Global Law Firm applies corrective justice
theory to ensure that clients receive fair compensation proportional to the damages
incurred. The firm's systematic approach in identifying torts involves an in-depth
analysis of key elements, including violations of law, actual damages, and causal
links between the unlawful actions and their impacts. This process ensures a strong
and relevant legal basis for every case handled. The firm offers flexible dispute
resolution options to its clients, emphasizing efficiency in time and cost. Alternative
dispute resolution methods are prioritized to reach amicable solutions, while
litigation is pursued when necessary. The firm's capability in managing complex
legal disputes demonstrates its ability to bridge theoretical law and practical
applications effectively. The internship also provided valuable insights into how
legal theories are integrated into real-world practice to deliver comprehensive
legal solutions. The report emphasizes the significance of justice, efficiency, and
professionalism as the cornerstones of effective dispute resolution. Furthermore,
the findings underline the importance of legal internships as a medium for students
to gain practical experience, connecting theoretical knowledge with professional
legal practices.
