Abstract

Generasi Alpha yang tumbuh dalam era digital memiliki ketertarikan tinggi terhadap konten visual seperti animasi, namun juga rentan terhadap dampak negatif seperti kecanduan gadget dan penurunan interaksi sosial. Maka dari itu, untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, diperlukan media yang positif dan menarik secara visual. Animasi tiga dimensi menjadi salah satu solusi yang efektif untuk menyampaikan pesan positif dan nilai budaya secara menyenangkan bagi anak-anak. Proyek ini merancang trailer film animasi 3D “Gian: Batik Quest” yang mengangkat budaya batik Pekalongan sebagai elemen utama dalam desain karakter dan lingkungan. Dengan target anak usia 8–10 tahun, proyek ini bertujuan memperkenalkan budaya lokal melalui media visual yang relevan dan menghibur. Hasil perancangan diharapkan mampu menjadi referensi dalam pengembangan konten animasi positif yang menyampaikan anti kecanduan teknologi dan pengenalan budaya Indonesia. Penulis menggunakan empat kata kunci utama dalam perancangan trailer “Gian: Batik Quest”: (1) model tiga dimensi, yang menjadi media utama untuk menyampaikan cerita secara visual dan interaktif; (2) Generasi Alpha, sebagai target audiens dengan karakteristik yang sangat akrab dengan dunia digital; (3) budaya Indonesia, yang menjadi acuan visual dalam keseluruan proyek; serta (4) batik Pekalongan, sebagai elemen visual khas yang merepresentasikan warisan budaya lokal yang diintegrasikan. / Generation Alpha who grew up in the digital era has a high interest in visual content such as animation, but is also vulnerable to negative impacts such as gadget addiction and decreased social interaction. To overcome this, positive and visually appealing media are needed. Three-dimensional animation is one effective solution to convey positive messages and cultural values in a fun way for children. This project designs a 3D animated film trailer “Gian: Batik Quest” which highlights Pekalongan batik culture as the main element in character and environmental design. Targeting children aged 8-10 years, this project aims to introduce local culture through relevant and entertaining visual media. The design results are expected to be a reference in developing positive animated content that conveys anti-technology addiction and an introduction to Indonesian culture. The author uses four main keywords in designing the “Gian: Batik Quest” trailer: (1) three-dimensional models, which are the main media for conveying stories visually and interactively; (2) Generation Alpha, as the target audience with characteristics that are very familiar with the digital world; (3) Indonesian culture, which is a visual reference in the entire project; and (4) batik Pekalongan, as a distinctive visual element that represents integrated local cultural heritage.
