Perancangan kemasan mooncake berdasarkan permasalahan sehari-hari yang dialami para konsumen membuat inovasi baru yang dapat dikembangkan melalui kemasan mooncake dengan membuat alat vakum guna sebagai solusi dari permasalah terjadinya kekeringan pada sisa mooncake setelah dibuka dari segel plastik yang dialami dari konsumen. Hal ini didasari dari pengumpulan data berupa penyebaran kuesioner, serta tambahan data sekunder, primer serta dengan uji coba eksperimen untuk membuktikan bahwa solusi dari permasalahn dapat berguna di pasaran konsumen dan hal tersebut terbukti berhasil dengan adanya inovasi dari alat vakum kemasan mooncake. Karena dengan menjaga kualitas dari mooncake dengan baik hal ini dapat mencegah kepunahan atau dapat tetap menjaga tradisi mooncake agar tetap berjalan, tidak hanya itu, penggunaan kembali kemasan setelah pakai juga harus diwaspadai terutama dalam merancang kemasan mooncake agar limbah negara dapat lebih teratasi dan juga berdampak baik bagi lingkungan sekitar. / Chinese tradition is a ritual that is carried out based on history that is formed with lively and different celebrations in each tradition. Mooncake is one of the Chinese traditions that comes from a legend or myth, a very famous fairy tale in this tradition is the story of Chang'E and Hou Yi which is often told to children in mid-autumn, besides this tradition is also famous for giving thanks to the Gods of heaven and earth for taking care of the crops received by us. Celebration on mooncake day by gathering together and eating mooncakes while enjoying the big full moon. Indonesia is one of the countries with various cultures, one of which is Chinese culture. Many Chinese citizens live in Indonesia and marry Indonesian citizens and then have children. The traditions that have been carried out from generation to generation have faded and the celebrations that are carried out are not as lively as they should be, therefore this study aims to make mooncake packaging more inviting and lively and can maintain the celebration for several days longer than usual. Completing the final assignment through the stages of data, observation, analysis, testing, experiments, and product design as the final stage. Data collection was conducted by interviewing and filling out questionnaires with the target market of Chinese descent or those who celebrate mooncake day. Respondents were collected by distributing questionnaires and observations regarding the types of mooncakes in Indonesia as well as experimental trials of mooncake durability if stored for days under strict supervision of the texture of the mooncake being tested.
