This research explores how financial aspects such as leverage, liquidity, growth, and productivity impact profitability in the food and beverages sector in Indonesia. By using data from 19 listed public firms in Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2014 to 2023, this research uses references from 2014 to 2025. This research uses statistic model to analyze the impact between these factors on profitability. The result shows leverage positively affect profitability which highlights the importance of balance debt ratio. In contrary, liquidity and productivity negatively affect profitability due to high initial cost and operational risk along with inefficient asset management. While, growth does not affect profitability significantly. These findings help manager, investor, and stakeholder to optimize financial strategy to achieve sustainable profitability in this sector and emphasize the need of balancing short-term challenges with long-term goals.
