Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional pemimpin, kepemimpinan transformasional, kepemimpinan transaksional, kepercayaan, dan kinerja karyawan. Dengan menggunakan data survei dari karyawan manajerial di industri konstruksi, hubungan antara variabel-variabel ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif statistik yang tepat. Metode yang digunakan adalah paradigma positivisme. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan data yang diperoleh melalui survei, wawancara, dan analisis dokumentasi di PT. XYZ. Dalam penelitian kua, pendekatan yang digunakan cenderung eksploratif. Sampel terdiri dari 160 responden. Untuk menguji model struktural, digunakan Partial Least Squares (PLS) melalui pengujian model pengukuran (Outer Model) dan pengujian model struktural (Inner Model). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan emosional pemimpin, gaya kepemimpinan transformasional, dan kepemimpinan transaksional memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap tingkat kepercayaan dan kinerja dalam suatu organisasi atau tim. Kecerdasan emosional pemimpin, jika dikombinasikan dengan gaya kepemimpinan yang inspiratif dan motivasional, dapat meningkatkan tingkat kepercayaan di antara anggota tim atau bawahan serta kinerja secara keseluruhan. Selain itu, gaya kepemimpinan transaksional yang berfokus pada pencapaian target dan insentif juga berdampak positif pada kepercayaan dan kinerja. Kepercayaan dianggap sebagai faktor mediasi yang memperkuat hubungan antara karakteristik kepemimpinan dan hasil kinerja./ This study aims to examine the relationship between leader's emotional intelligence, transformational leadership, transactional leadership, trust, and employee performance. Using survey data from managerial employees in the construction industry, the relationships between these variables were analyzed using appropriate statistical methods. The method employed was the positivism paradigm. This research utilized a quantitative approach with data obtained through surveys, interviews, and documentation analysis at PT. XYZ. In qualitative research, the approach used tended to be exploratory. The sample consisted of 160 respondents. For testing the structural model, Partial Least Squares (PLS) was used through testing the measurement model (Outer Model) and testing the structural model (Inner Model). The results of the study indicate that leader's emotional intelligence, transformational leadership style, and transactional leadership have a significant influence on the level of trust and performance in an organization or team. Leader's emotional intelligence, when combined with an inspirational and motivational leadership style, can enhance the level of trust among team members or subordinates as well as overall performance. Additionally, transactional leadership style focusing on target achievement and incentives also has a positive impact on trust and performance. Trust is considered a mediating factor that strengthens the relationship between leadership characteristics and performance outcomes.
