Abstract

Bagi para perawat disarankan untuk terus memperkuat spiritualitas diri, baik melalui ibadah maupun perenungan terhadap nilai dan tujuan profesinya, guna menjaga konsistensi dalam memberikan pelayanan yang peduli dan empatik / Caring behavior is the act of providing holistic support to individuals and is one of the essentials in daily nursing practice. In nursing practice, caring behavior can be influenced by various factors, including spirituality and spiritual climate. Spiritual well-being, which is created through a person's state of spiritual well-being and then supported by a positive spiritual climate in the workplace where spiritual values are recognized and valued, can encourage nurses to strengthen nurses' commitment to caring behavior. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of spirituality and spiritual climate on nurses' caring behavior. This study used a quantitative approach. The sample in this study were nurses in Indonesia totaling 239 respondents. The research instruments used were demographic data questionnaire, Indonesian version of Spiritual Well-Being Scale (SWBS) questionnaire, Spiritual Climate Scale (SCS), and Caring Professional Scale (CPS). The analysis technique used was multivariate data analysis. The results of multiple regression analysis showed that spiritual well-being and spiritual climate simultaneously had a significant effect on nurses' caring behavior (F = 82.436 > F_table = 3.04; p = 0.000 < 0.05). This indicates that the higher the level of spiritual well-being and the more positive the spiritual climate in the workplace, the higher the caring behavior exhibited by nurses. Nurses are advised to continue to strengthen their spirituality, both through worship and reflection on the values and goals of their profession, in order to maintain consistency in providing caring and empathic services.
