Abstract

Sehingga diharapkan perawat mampu memastikan pasien mendapatkan pelayanan yang bermanfaat dan berkualitas, dengan menghindari kejadian erorr dan efek samping berbahaya dalam praktik kesehatan / Patient safety is a common issue in hospitals both globally and in Indonesia and it is important to be carried out by all health workers including nurses. Nurses' knowledge of IPSG has a good impact on patients, nurses and the hospital itself. By implementing IPSG (International Patient Safety Goals) it will also help patients to achieve maximum health both physically, psychosocially and holistically. This study aims to analyze the relationship between nurses' knowledge and the implementation of IPSG in a private hospital in Tangerang. This research uses quantitative research methods with a correlational cross-sectional design and Gamma statistical test. The data analysis technique is bivariate analysis. The sample in this study amounted to 82 people. Using a questionnaire instrument. This research was conducted from January to April 2025. The results obtained the majority age 20-30 years 75.6%, the majority of women 73.2%, the majority who have worked 1-5 years 43.9%, the majority of the last education S1 87.8%, respondents who have a good level of knowledge as much as 62.2% and as much as 59.8% have good application. The results of the analysis using the Chi square test with a value of 0.501 showed that the two variables studied were not interrelated with a p-value of 0.479 (p>0.05), stating that the two variables were not statistically significant at the 95% confidence level. The results showed that there were still many respondents with poor knowledge and application, the researcher suggested routine training and increased motivation for nurses to continue implementing IPSG. It is hoped that nurses will be able to ensure patients get useful and quality services, by avoiding errors and dangerous side effects in health practices.
