Abstract

(2-tailed) 0.000. Rekomendasi : Oleh karena itu, intervensi berbasis komunitas, layanan kesehatan mental, dan kebijakan perlindungan sangat diperlukan untuk mengurangi dampak negatif KDRT pada semua pihak yang terpapar, termasuk bystander / Background: Domestic Violence (DV) is a behavior carried out to maintain control over an intimate partner in the form of physical, psychological, verbal, sexual violence, and even economic neglect. A bystander is someone who witnesses an incident of domestic violence but does not provide any assistance because the bystander believes that there are many other people who are braver to help people who experience domestic violence. Bystanders also believe that domestic violence is an internal family problem so they do not want to get involved in the problem. Objective: The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between bystanders of domestic violence and depression, anxiety, and stress. Method: This study used a quantitative correlational method with a sample size of 352 using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection used the Depression, Anxiety, and Stress Scale-21 Items(DASS-21) questionnaire and also the Bystander Effect Scale12 Items questionnaire. Data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis with the Spearman's rho statistical test. Results: The results showed that there was no relationship between bystanders of domestic violence and depression with the results of Sig. (2-tailed) 0.726 and for domestic violence bystanders with anxiety and stress have a relationship with the results Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000. Recommendation: Therefore, community-based interventions, mental health services, and protection policies are needed to reduce the negative impact of domestic violence on all parties exposed, including bystanders.
