Abstract

Simulasi laboratorium adalah sebuah metode pembelajaran yang digunakan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan melalui berbagai skenario klinis dalam lingkungan yang protektif dan suportif. Dalam simulasi laboratorium mahasiswa dilatih untuk berpikir secara kritis dalam pengambilan keputusan klinis untuk menentukan intervensi yang tepat dan berkualitas untuk kesembuhan pasien. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan penerapan simulasi laboratorium dengan berpikir kritis dan pengambilan keputusan klinis mahasiswa keperawatan di satu universitas swasta Tangerang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian deskriptif korelasi. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa/i tingkat akhir di satu universitas swasta Tangerang yang telah mengikuti simulasi laboratorium dengan jumlah populasi 363 mahasiswa. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan rumus slovin sehingga didapatkan sampel sebanyak 190 mahasiswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Simulation Design Scale (SDS) untuk simulasi laboratorium, Problem-Solving Inventory (PSI) untuk pengambilan keputusan klinis, dan Critical Thinking Skills Questionnaire (CTSQ). Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji statistik chi- square. Penelitian ini akan berlangsung pada bulan Januari hingga April 2025. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara penerapan simulasi laboratorium dengan berpikir kritis (p < 0,001), namun tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara penerapan simulasi laboratorium dengan pengambilan keputusan klinis (p = 0,183). Peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan meneliti tentang faktor – faktor yang mungkin mempengaruhi pengambilan keputusan klinis. / Laboratory simulation is a learning method used to develop skills through various clinical scenarios in a protective and supportive environment. In laboratory simulations, students are trained to think critically in making clinical decisions to determine appropriate and quality interventions for patient recovery. This study was conducted with the aim of knowing the relationship between the application of laboratory simulation and the improvement of clinical skills of nursing students at one private university in Tangerang. The study population was final year students at one private university in Tangerang who had participated in laboratory simulationswith a total population of 363 students. Sampling using the slovin formula so that a sample of 190 students was obtained. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling. The instruments used in this study were Simulation Design Scale (SDS) for laboratory simulation, Problem-Solving Inventory (PSI) for clinical decision making, and Critical Thinking Skills Questionnaire (CTSQ). Data analysiswas performed using the chi-square statistical test. This study will take place fromJanuary to April 2025. The results of the study showed that there was a significant relationship between the application of laboratory simulations and critical thinking (p < 0.001), but there was no significant relationship between the application of laboratory simulations and clinical decision making (p = 0.183). Further researchers are expected to examine the factors that may influence clinical decision making.
