Abstract

Motivasi adalah faktor penting yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan seseorang dalam pembelajaran, berfungsi sebagai dorongan untuk meraih pencapaian yang baik. Motivasi dapat muncul dari dalam diri (faktor internal) maupun dari luar (faktor eksternal) seperti dukungan keluarga, teman, dan lingkungan. Mahasiswa dengan motivasi tinggi cenderung lebih aktif, berinisiatif, dan menggunakan berbagai strategi positif untuk mencapai keberhasilan akademik. Sebaliknya, tanpa motivasi, minat belajar dapat menurun, sehingga proses pembelajaran menjadi kurang efektif. Dalam konteks pendidikan tinggi yang penuh tantangan, kombinasi dukungan internal dan eksternal menjadi kunci penting bagi mahasiswa untuk tetap termotivasi, berkembang, dan meraih keberhasilan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah ingin mengetahui gambaran motivasi belajar mahasiswa di Kabupaten Tangerang serta mengetahui aspek pendukung yang meningkatkan motivasi belajar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berjumlah 395 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan ialah analisis univariat. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Januari-April 2025. Hasil penelitian gambaran motivasi belajar mahasiswa di kabupatan Tangerang termasuk dalam kategori motivasi belajar yang tinggi (99,2%). Rekomendasi untuk mahasiswa dapat terus meningkatkan motivasi belajarnya. Institusi diharapkan dapat menyediakan lebih banyak program dan pelatihan yang dapat memotivasi mahasiswa untuk aktif belajar dan berorganisasi. Penelitian selanjutnya dapat memperluas wilayah penelitian a tau menambah variabel yang lebih bervariasi / Motivation is an important factor that influences a person's success in learning, serving as a drive to achieve good results. Motivation can arise from within (internal factors) or from outside (external factors) such as support from family, friends, and the environment. Students with high motivation tend to be more active, take initiative, and use various positive strategies to achieve academic success. On the contrary, without motivation, interest in learning can decline, making the learning process less effective. In the context of higher education, which is full of challenges, a combination of internal and external support becomes a key factor for students to remain motivated, develop, and achieve success. The purpose of this research is to understand the picture of student learning motivation in Tangerang Regency and to identify the supporting aspects that enhance learning motivation. The method used in this research is the quantitative descriptive research method. The sample used in thisstudy consisted of 395 people. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The instrument used in this study employs a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is univariate analysis. This research was conducted from January to April 2025. The results of the study on the learning motivation of students in Tangerang Regency fall into the category of high learning motivation (99,2%). Recommendations for students to continue improving their learning motivation. Institutions are expected to provide more programs and training that can motivate students to actively learn and organize. Future research can expand the scope of the study or add more varied variables.
