Abstract

Namun masih terdapat proporsi persepsi negatif yang cukup besar dari administrator yang dapat menjadi hambatan dalam penerapan keperawatan spiritual secara menyeluruh sehingga dibutuhkan upaya strategis dalam bentuk pelatihan, sosialisasi, serta integrasi keperawatan spiritual kedalam kebijakan manajemen rumah sakit agar dapat mengoptimalkan perawatan yang holistik kepada pasien./Spiritual Nursing is a form of providing nursing care where a nurse provides action to fulfill spiritual needs or all forms of problems that have occurred related to the patient's spirituality. To identify and understand how hospital administrators perceive spiritual care for patients in one of the private hospitals in Tangerang. The convenience sampling used in this study involved 29 administrators as respondents. The instrument used in this study was a validated questionnaire: the Indonesian version of the Spirituality and Spiritual Care Rating Scale (SSCRS), which had been validated for reliability, achieving a Cronbach's Alpha of 0.74 (Çetinkaya et al., 2013). Data collection was carried out in March 2025 to April 2025 by distributing questionnaire links to respondents. The data obtained were subjected to univariate analysis. The results showed that the majority of hospital administrators had a positive perception of spiritual care 62.1%, while some showed a negative perception 37.9%. These findings indicate that most administrators acknowledged the importance of spiritual aspects as part of patient care. However, a significant proportion of administrators still hold negative perceptions, which may pose challenges to the comprehensive implementation of spiritual nursing care. Therefore, strategic initiatives such as targeted training, awareness programs, and the integration of spiritual nursing care into hospital management policies are essential to optimize holistic patient care.
