Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti hubungan antara kepemilikan bank dengan perilaku hedging, serta apakah hedging dapat meningkatkan nilai perusahaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 446 perusahaan terbuka yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada tahun 2009 sampai dengan 2018. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemilikan bank tidak terbukti meningkatkan perilaku hedging pada perusahaan di Indonesia. Akan tetapi, hedging terbukti dapat meningkatkan nilai perusahaan.
