PROSES KOMUNIKASI ANTARPRIBADI ANTARA FOTOGRAFER DAN MODEL PEMULA DI DARWIS TRIADI SCHOOL OF PHOTOGRAPHY Perkembangan di bidang teknologi komunikasi semakin hari semakin canggih. Hal ini mendorong terjadinya sektor ekonomi kreatif berkembang pesat di Indonesia. Salah satu sub sektor yang berkembang adalah industri fotografi. Perkembangan tersebut mendorong banyak orang untuk ingin terjun dalam industri tersebut. Siapa saja bisa masuk dalam industri tersebut. Hal ini yang menyebabkan banyak model pemula yang terjun ke industri fotografi. Fotografer dan model pemula mulanya tidak saling mengenal, namun, mereka dituntut harus bekerja sama dalam memproduksi foto. Untuk itulah, diperlukan penelitian untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses komunikasi antarpribadi antara fotografer dan model pemula dalam memproduksi foto. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian deskriptif. Pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan dengan data primer, yaitu wawancara dan observasi non-participan, serta data sekunder berupa studi kepustakaan dan dokumentasi. Wawancara dilakukan kepada para anggota Darwis Triadi School of Photography. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses komunikasi antarpribadi antara fotografer dan model pemula di Darwis Triadi School of Photography menggunakan strategi pengurangan ketidakpastian dan mengatasi hambatan dalam membuat komunikasi efektif guna memproduksi foto. / INTERPERSONAL COMMUNICATION PROCESS BETWEEN PHOTOGRAPHER AND BEGINNER MODEL AT DARWIS TRIADI SCHOOL OF PHOTOGRAPHY The development in the field of communication technology has increased sophistication. This has encouraged the development of the creative economy sector in Indonesia to develop rapidly. One of the developing sub-sectors is the photography industry. These developments encourage many people to want to get involved in the industry. Anyone can enter the industry. This has caused many beginner models to enter the photography industry. Photographers and beginner models did not initially know each other, however, they were required to work together in producing photographs. For this reason, research is needed to find out how the interpersonal communication process between photographers and novice models in producing photos. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research methods. Research data collection was carried out with primary data, namely interviews and non-participant observation, as well as secondary data in the form of literature studies and documentation. Interviews were conducted with members of the Darwis Triadi School of Photography. The results showed that interpersonal communication process between the photographer and beginner model in Darwis Triadi School of Photography use the strategy of reducing uncertainty to make commmunication effective in producing photos.
