Abstract
Dalam proses belajar mengajar, guru sering memberikan bahan
pembelajaran kepada siswa untuk dipelajari. Untuk mengetahui daya serap dari
siswa terhadap bahan pelajaran yang diberikan, maka guru dapat menyuruh siswa
untuk membuat ringkasan terhadap bahan pelajaran yang diterimanya. Konsep
pembelajaran ini disebut dengan metode pembelajaran resitasi. Metode Resitasi
adalah cara untuk mengajar yang dilakukan dengan jalan tugas khusus kepada siswa
untuk mengerjakan sesuatu diluar jam pelajaran. Metode resitasi memiliki beberapa
kelebihan, yaitu pengetahuan yang diperoleh siswa dapat diingat lebih lama, siswa
berkesempatan memupuk perkembangan dan keberanian dalam mengambil
inisiatif, merangsang aktivitas belajar siswa, dan bertanggungjawab atas hasil
belajar yang diperoleh. Namun, permasalahan yang sering dihadapi oleh guru
adalah proses penilaian terhadap tugas yang dikumpulkan oleh siswa yang sering
menghabiskan waktu dan tenaga yang banyak. Hal ini dikarenakan seorang guru
dapat mengajar beberapa kelas sehingga jumlah siswa yang diasuh sangat banyak.
Untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut, maka diperlukan sebuah sistem yang
mampu melakukan penilaian secara otomatis. Untuk melakukan hal tersebut, maka
dapat diterapkan teknik peringkasan teks otomatis. Salah satu algoritma yang dapat
digunakan adalah algoritma TextRank. Cara kerja TextRank adalah dengan mencari
kalimat yang paling mirip dengan seluruh kalimat yang ada di text. Kalimat yang
paling mirip dengan semua kalimat itulah yang akan menjadi kalimat terpenting di
teks tersebut. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah aplikasi berbasis website yang
dapat digunakan untuk melakukan penilaian tugas secara otomatis.

In the teaching and learning process, teachers often provide learning
materials for students to study. To find out the absorption of students towards the
learning materials given, teachers can ask students to make a summary of the
learning materials they receive. This learning concept is called the recitation
learning method. The Recitation Method is a way of teaching that is done by giving
students special assignments to do something outside of class hours. The recitation
method has several advantages, namely the knowledge gained by students can be
remembered longer, students have the opportunity to foster development and
courage in taking the initiative, stimulate student learning activities, and be
responsible for the learning outcomes obtained. However, the problem that teachers
often face is the process of assessing assignments submitted by students which often
takes a lot of time and energy. This is because a teacher can teach several classes
so that the number of students being cared for is very large. To solve this problem,
a system is needed that is able to carry out assessments automatically. To do this,
automatic text summarization techniques can be applied. One algorithm that can
be used is the TextRank algorithm. The way TextRank works is by finding the
sentence that is most similar to all the sentences in the text. The sentence that is
most similar to all the sentences will be the most important sentence in the text. The
result of this study is a website-based application that can be used to give grades
automatically.
